* One fairy tale has a princess show a farm boy a trio of birthmarks, one on her ankle (a sun), knee (a cluster of stars), and upper thigh ([[{{Pun}} a moon, of course]]) in exchange for a trio of simple favours. The king decrees that whoever knows the princess' secret will have her hand in marriage. The farm boy reveals these birthmarks, and weds the princess.

For the purposes of this trope, the qualifying areas are the chest (on women), the crotch and inner thigh, and the buttocks. Marks found on other areas, such as shapely legs, [[BareYourMidriff bared midriffs]] or a bare back do not count. Marks just shy of these areas (''just'' above the breast, buttocks, or crotch) are passable, though.

* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3'' features special glowing marks that roughly signify how many time from their 10-years lifespan the person has left. They are put on random places on the characters' bodies, and some of the girls, like Eunie or Ethel, has theirs stamped on their breasts.

* In ''Film/CarryOnDick'', the Bow Street Runners learn that the notorious highwayman "[[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything Big Dick]]" Turpin has a distinguishing birthmark on his penis, so one of them starts following men into the lavatory to see if he can spot it.

* In ''Manga/AsukaHybrid'', while Asuka is gathering clues to track down the mysterious mage that [[GenderBender turned him into a girl]], he makes note of the rune-like symbols that were just above her crotch. While the main reason he remembers it is because said mage landed on top of him and gave him an awkward view of the area, Yayoi assumes [[AllMenArePerverts the wrong idea for why he'd be paying enough attention to remember it so clearly]].

* ''Film/TheRapture'': Angie, one of the swingers, has a tattoo which goes down her whole back and buttocks, which is seen when she's having sex with a man at an orgy. She apparently got it all in one night, and Angie is quite touchy about being asked questions about this.

This trope is about characters with some sort of writing, markings, symbols or pictures on their naughtier bits, whether written on their clothes or displayed on their bare skin. This is often used as a tactic to deliberately draw attention to the said area, especially if paired with MaleGaze, FemaleGaze, or clothing such as bikinis or thongs. Some clothes designers intentionally put their logo here, or sell clothes with attention-grabbing marks as an advertising gimmick. ("Snorg Tees" is particularly JustForFun/{{egregious}} about this.)

* The bar and grill chain Hooters makes sure the "O"s of the HOOTERS logo on [[BuxomIsBetter their waitresses']] shirts are placed in the best spot to draw the eye.

** Tier Harribel's "3" tattoo is on her right breast, and is only visible when she removes her jacket. Szayelaporro's "8" tattoo is apparently in his groin.
