* Wonka-brand "Scrumdiddlyumptious Bars" (actually made by Nestle). The word "scrumdiddlyumptious" was created by Creator/RoaldDahl, author of Literature/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory; "Wonka-brand" is a reference to the character of Willy Wonka from the book. It dates back to the 1971 film adaptation -- which was greenlit specifically to serve as a marketing device for candy bars. So in this case, the word was not so much made up by marketing people as co-opted by them, despite the fact that Dahl was very likely Satire satirizing this type of language!

* Taco Bell commercials advertising "melty cheese" on their products. For fun, go to a fancy restaurant and ask for the fondue to be served extra melty. See if you don't get ejected.
** Subway sandwich restaurants have also started advertising their 'melty' cheese. (Can't I have the non-melty kind?)
** As have a few pizza chains.

Added DiffLines:

* The first year of Franchise/PowerRangers introduced the word "morphenomenal"; that one faded out pretty quickly, though the phrase gets a nod every now and then, usually during episodes celebrating series milestones. Cole uses it during "Forever Red" when awestruck by the reality of battling alongside none other than Jason himself. Adam, who was introduced after "Morphenomenal!" fell out of use, gets a crack at it when he nearly disposes of Thrax, coincidentally the son of Rita and Zedd, in "Once a Ranger." Then, Tyler at one point describes his T-Rex Super Charge as such.

* Nissan ran an advertising campaign around the concept of combining words to make new ones, such as "Luxurious" and "Durable" to make "Luxurable". The best was undoubtedly "Spafe" (a combination of spacious and safe". TopGear naturally pointed out that it was just "Shiny and Bright"
