*** Elaine Mallory (technically Harry's sister since they were both adopted by Justin DuMorne) is also a badass wizard. Magically, she's strong enough to be in the Wizard's Council and has the same intensive training that Harry has. What she lacks in power (as compared to Harry), she more than makes up for in control and finesse. Just don't think about the part where she's also Harry's [[IncestIsRelative former lover]].

**** And you can add his grandfather, Ebenezer [=McCoy=], the Blackstaff of the White Council (the only wizard with a license to kill.

* The Varyl ilian in the OneRoseTrilogy. A family group of eleven highly-trained warriors? They have [[DivineIntervention magic]] that hasn't been seen in a thousand years? Yeah.

Patriarch Brendan Reed is a WorthyOpponent who founded his own guild of assassins, and a pretty nice guy, if something of a XanatosSucker, when he's not burying an axe in your head. His second wife ([[MayDecemberRomance much younger than he]]), Sonia, is a [[DarkMagicalGirl Dark Magical]] [[EvilMatriarch Matriarch]] who's up there with [[FullmetalAlchemist Lust]] in terms of [[EvilIsSexy sexy evil]]. Brendan's two sons from his first marriage are disciplined master Lloyd and BloodKnight Linus, loyal only to their father and his best killers. Finally, Brendan and Sonia have a[[spoiler:n adopted]] daughter, Nino, a card-carrying [[TheWoobie Woobie]] with MagikarpPower. [[spoiler:And if we're counting her biological family, her uncle is the resident GameBreaker.]] Brendan's first wife's identity is unknown, but she was probably very awesome indeed.

* The protagonists in StrangeLittleBand are this in spades. You really don't want to make them angry. And being borderline {{Villian Protagonist}}s they mix it nicely with TheFamilyThatSlaysTogether.

* The Cthoniques in CastleTerribel, are a rather goofy version of this. Four [[EvilOverlord Dark Lords]], one of whom is undead, and all of them seem more enthusiastic about their hobbies and home life then causing trouble.

* Also arguably, the House of M, although just who counts (* coughmagicchildrencough* ) is still in flux, and they're just as likely to fight each other than you.

* The [[Comicbook/IncredibleHulk Banner family]]. We have Bruce, [[SheHulk his cousin Jen]], his wife Caiera, and his children, Skaar, Hiro, and Lyra.

** There's also Bruce father in law General Thunderbolt Ross(aka [[spoiler:Red Hulk]]).

** There's also [[PersonOfMassDestruction Hayate]] and [[MagicKnight the Wolkenritter]]. They aren't actually biologically related, but they have a very definite "family" dynamic nonetheless. They're also easily the most powerful ''group'' in the series. May God be with you if the Yagami family shoes up to kick your ass.

* lets not Forget the Adama family of the prequel Caprica either.
