* ''Animation/KaunBanegaSuperstar'': In "Best Actor Kaun", Red Star's car is the same as Blue Star's car except flipped and red instead of blue, and has the same "001" license plate except in reverse.

* ''VisualNovel/TyrionCuthbertAttorneyOfTheArcane'': Tyrion's courtroom sprites are mirrored briefly in Case 4, when he takes the prosecution's bench. This results in his business card being on the wrong side of his chest, and his hair looking slightly different than it should. It also happens to Tymora during the rest of the case, where it's her who stands on the right side of the courtroom. However, it's less noticeable for her because the only asymmetrical aspect of her body is her hair, and only slightly. By having them switch tables, the game effectively doesn't have to mirror Tyrion's sprites, which receive more screentime than Tymora's.

* ''VideoGame/{{Contra}}: Hard Corps'': Brad Fang has a cybernetic arm on the side closest to the background and a gun on the foreground side. [[MultipleEndings While even the different endings are not consistent]], the promotional illustrations depicts his left arm as his gun arm.
* Most playable characters in ''The Death and Return of Superman'' are pretty symmetrical, and even Superman's "S" logo is notably designed so it looks the same while still being recognizable no matter what side the character is facing. The notable exception is Cyborg Superman, whose left and right sides are entirely different yet the game still flips the sprite, making it visually jarring in comparison with the rest.

* In ''VideoGame/AmongUs'', when a Crewmate/Impostor is equipped with a "DUM" sticky note on their head (referred to as "Note 2 Self" in-game), the note will read out "[[TheBackwardsR MUᗡ]]" when they are facing left. This is not the case with the [[VideoGame/HenryStickminSeries Right Hand Man: Reborn]] skin, though, as its cybernetic parts will always be on their right arm.
