Cassandra is a teenage girl who's being forced to spend the summer with her mother, baby brother, and step-father in the town of Crest Harbor, Massacheusetts. To her, it basically means .

Cassandra is a teenage girl who's being forced to spend the summer with her mother, baby brother, and step-father in the town of Crest Harbor, Massacheusetts. To her, She didn't really have any say in whether she wants to go or not, and is now being forced to either stay home, or come along with her mom and step-dad to every social situation they can join. So, yeah, not Cassandra's summer hopes and dreams.

Then, one day, she meets a boy on the beach behind her house. The boy introduces himself as Lawrence, and the two hit
it basically means .off. Soon, a friendship blossoms between them that could very well become something more. One little problem, though.

Lawrence is from 1925, and Cassandra's from 2015.

So, yeah, now they have to work out how to make it work between them[[spoiler:, and how to save Lawrence from his murder some weeks later]].
