Most of the mystical elements of the story seem haphazardly used and are never adequately rationalized for the reader why any of the characters have certain powers in the first place. All in all, though, the abundance of Narm gives it a SoBadItsGood feel that makes for an entertaining read, even if the author didn't intend for it to be entertaining ''in that way''.
