Audience alienting premise isn't about people not liking a work. It's the work failing because of the bizarre. That's why Chicken Little and Pocahontas 2 aren't examples of this.

I don't think the work failing financially has to be part of the trope. I also tried giving this better wording, partly since I don't feel "scaring away" is the right way to describe it. Lastly, I added details from the main page and I don't feel the last part is needed.
