!!Films
* Luke and Han have a few longing stares in ''Film/ANewHope'' and ''Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack''.
* Billy Dee Williams's half-serious answer as to why Lando was wearing some of Han's duds in ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi'' was that he figured Han and Lando were fooling around in the back of the ''Falcon,'' and that Lando just put on what was handy.
* Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan and Obi-Wan/Anakin are both popular. Say what you will: George has figured out how to take Ho Yay out of the level of Fanservice for the ladies and some men and actually have it be meaningful, such as Obi-Wan's "I loved you," which was a response to Anakin's bitter "I hate you!" for being left by him to burn near a river of lava. Both of them feeling betrayed by the other. Deborah Chow, the director of the ''Series/ObiWanKenobi'' TV show, cited the "[[https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/05/star-wars-cover-the-rebellion-will-be-televised love-story dynamic]]" Obi-Wan and Anakin shared in the movies as a reason she felt the need to include both of them in the show.
* There's quite a bit between C-3PO and R2-D2 as well, with the theory of the two being closet homosexuals being very popular for a long time.
* Poe and Finn, to the degree that even mainstream media articles exploring whether Star Wars will have a canon LGBTQ character often use the picture of Finn rescuing Poe from the ''Finalizer'' as the article image.
** In ''Film/TheForceAwakens'', the Resistance X-Wing pilot and Stormtrooper defector bond almost immediately, with Poe even giving Finn his ''name'' (he had previously been called just FN-2187).
** After the TIE fighter they were escaping in gets shot down and crashes, their ejection seats land in different places. Finn believes Poe is dead, and vice versa. When they reunite, it is with a mutual {{Glomp}} and both look ecstatic to see each other alive and well. Finn had also been wearing Poe's jacket, the only thing he recovered from the wreckage. When he tries to return it, Poe tells him to keep it (after giving him a lip-bitten smoldering look), saying it looks good on him.
** This goes on outside the film, as is revealed that some writers of the show actually do ship them together. Oscar Isaac, the actor who played Poe, has already stated that he believes that Poe does indeed have feelings for Finn, and some of the Ho Yay of the plot, is due to the fact that he acted as such.
** In ''Film/TheLastJedi'', after Poe is blown back [[spoiler:by the attack on the ''Raddus'' hangar]], Finn rushes to his side and borderline ''cradles'' him protectively. Some fans also noticed, during the critical scene [[spoiler:when the Resistance fighters escape through the caves]], a moment in which they [[https://twitter.com/plantblogger/status/944796398058221569 could very well be holding hands just off-camera]].
** ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker'' shows no sign of slowing down. A RunningGag is Finn trying to pull Rey aside and tell her something important (WordOfGod says he's trying to tell Rey he suspects he's Force Sensitive), but Poe's reaction is to get huffy and borderline jealous that Finn wants to talk to her alone and [[OneTrueThreesome can't just say it in front of both of them.]]
* Gun-toting mercenary Baze and blind stave-master Chirrut in ''Film/RogueOne'' are very close. When Baze wishes Chirrut luck, Chirrut's reply is "I don't need luck; I have you." [[spoiler:When Chirrut dies near the end, it's in Baze's arms, while Baze implores him to be all right. Baze subsequently recites Chirrut's mantra and slaughters the entire squad of Death Troopers in seconds; when the last one dies clutching an armed grenade, Baze looks back at Chirrut's corpse as it explodes.]]
* ''Film/{{Solo}}'' has a scene where Chewbacca joins Han in a very cramped shower. At the very least, they've come to be [[TrueCompanions very comfortable with each other]], very quickly.

!!Animated series
* [[spoiler:Darth Maul]]'s psychotic obsession with (revenge on) Obi-Wan in ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars''.
-->[[spoiler:'''Darth Maul''']]: You may have forgotten me, but I will never forget you!
* In ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'', season two introduces Barriss Offee, a padawan for Jedi Master Luminara Unduli. She and Ahsoka are sent on a dangerous mission together and, as is usual for action/adventure shows, [[FireForgedFriends bond in combat]]. The episode ends with them as good friends, but without anything that can truly be classified as homosexual subext, just [[TrueCompanions close friendship]]. Then, in "Brain Invaders" they talk some more, bond some more...and the LesYay goes through the ''roof''. Ahsoka is personally hurt when Barriss attempts to kill her, despite the [[MeatPuppet mind-controlling worms behind the event]] and the cool aplomb she took the previous betrayal of several clones who she called her friends; she can not bring herself to kill Barriss, [[KillMe despite Barriss's fervent pleas to do so]], and despite [[WhatMeasureIsAMook not having any compunction against killing clone troopers earlier]]; then, when Ahsoka finally manages to subdue Barriss, [[BeautifulDreamer she cradles her in her arms and holds her unconcious body]] [[SleepCute until she passes out as well and lies with her]]. When the two are rescued and brought aboard a space station to recover, Ahsoka's first words upon waking up are to ask about Barriss.

!!Live-Action Series
* ''Series/TheMandalorian'' and ''Series/TheBookOfBobaFett'' boast some flirtatious-sounding interactions between Din Djarin and Cobb Vanth.
** Out of context, Din's demand for Cobb to give him Boba's armor brings the intro of a gay porno to mind, especially with Pedro Pascal delivering Din's lines in a voice he's admitted sounds "strangely like a bedroom voice?":
--->'''Din:''' Take it off. Or I will.\\
'''Cobb:''' We gonna do this in front of the kid?\\
'''Din:''' He's seen worse.
** Pedro Pascal implied that he also ships "Dincobb" by sharing [[https://epicstream.com/article/the-mandalorian-star-pedro-pascal-ships-din-djarin-and-cobb-vanth a romantic drawing]] in a Valentine's Day 2022 Instagram story.
* Some viewers have romanticized Migs Mayfeld's apparent obsession with Din's eyes, introduced while he unsuccessfully demands to see Din's unmasked face en route to the prison raid. When the two of them later go undercover to locate Moff Gideon's light cruiser, [[spoiler:Mayfeld improvises "Brown Eyes" as an alias for helmet-less Din]].
* Drash's admiring smile after Fennec Shand saves her life and Fennec's flirty-sounding response can feel like the beginning of a RescueRomance.
-->'''Drash''': Thank you.
-->'''Fennec''': Manners! I like that. You're welcome. ''[rides off]''
* Drash also has some sparks with Jo, a young woman from Freetown - their interaction seems like a more succinct reprise of Din Djarin and Vanth's relationship, complete with flirtatious undertones.
* Bo-Katan/The Armorer got popular after the scene in "The Pirate" where [[spoiler:the Armorer commands Bo-Katan to remove her helmet. For Children of the Watch, it's like being told to take off a piece of clothing.]]
