*** Except if you read the novel, Kyon's narrative gives the exact room order which makes Koizumi's 'explanation' of that situation ''make no sense whatsoever''. The order is (Y / H / M // X / K / I) with Kyon directly across from Haruhi, Itsuki directly across from Mikuru, and no one across from Yuki. Koizumi's explanation gives a figure like '4' (basically a + with a diagonal line with Kyon as the center and Mikuru seeing Haruhi as the diagonal) which is completely impossible with the rooms in two rows like a normal hallway. You ''can'' make a figure 4 that is like an upside-down 'h' but it would have required Yuki to see Haruhi and Kyon to see either Haruhi or Itsuki. Given the...behavior of the copies, and the wish-fulfilling nature of the mansion they were trapped in, it's no surprise that even Kyon's narration flat out says he just wants to believe whatever BS theory Itsuki comes up with.

* Ryoko to Yuki. There is a... growing mound of evidence to support this interpretation. In Disappearance, she's really focused on Yuki and being her friend, including helping Yuki out with the cooking and whatnot. How much of this is due to Yuki rebuilding the world and how much is just Ryoko is a bit unclear, but... Then, of course, she stabs Kyon not because she wants to out of habit, but out of an evidently sincere desire to protect Yuki and help her fulfill her innermost dreams of being human.
*** Then, in Book 10, she describes her relationship with Yuki as like "being reflections in a mirror", and speaks of her with an unmistakable mixture of adoration and longing.
