Not only does she help him, she doesn't even judge him for what he's done when he more or less confesses that he is Kira and he deeply regrets his actions. Despite this {{Crossover}} being between two dark entries, there are plenty of moments in the story that will warm your heart right up, and show that even someone like Light Yagami deserves some love and attention.

* The whole reason behind Sayu requesting the Phantom Thieves to steal her brother's heart. She isn't doing it because it's the right thing to do or that she's the daughter of a cop. She just wants her kind and caring older brother back.
* Midway through the Palace, after Madarame's confession is publicized on TV, Yusuke thanks the Phantom Thieves from the bottom of his heart for getting involved, more or less claiming that [[IOweYouMyLife he owes them his life]] and wishes to repay this debt, starting off by returning Light Yagami back to his former self.
* After Kira's been defeated, and he's been reduced to pathetically begging for the Phantom Thieves to give him back his Treasure so he can remain and continue his work, he delivers this moment that proves that, even though he is a monster, there is a heart in him somewhere:
