** 5-Volt's portrayal is pretty heartwarming in ''Gold'', too, now that we know more about her. She's actually the original Nintendo [[{{Fanboy}} fangirl]] in the family, having been a GamerChick that put her love of games aside to focus on adult concerns, like cooking and raising a family. But she hasn't "grown out" of gaming, having passed her love of gaming onto her son, and it's an activity they both engage in ''together''. Heck, 5-Volt is an [[{{AscendedFanboy}} ascended fangirl]] who now gets to make Nintendo games of her own! Considering the series is 15 years old now, it's very sweet in a {{Meta}} way, considering that many fans who grew up playing the original game on Gameboy Advance are now adults with jobs and possibly even kids of their own, but haven't given up on their love of Nintendo. [[{{PeripheryDemographic}} And Nintendo wouldn't want them to]].

* The cutscene before Remix 1 shows the characters in a shack near a river all just kind of doing their own thing. Ashley is sitting in a corner, brewing a potion. Who do we see helping her (with absolutely no malice on Ashley's part and no signs of her being uncomfortable)? The Crygors. The three of them are just having fun doing something together and bonding over it, not only showing respect for each other's opposite practices, but combining them. It's short and simple, but still speaks volumes. Ashley, Penny, and Dr. Crygor just act like a group of friends. Let me repeat that. [[PunctuatedForEmphasis Ashley. Has. Friends.]] Her [[CharacterDevelopment character growth stuck after all]] and seems to have paid off wonderfully.

* He's obviously not happy about it, but Wario allows his employees to come with him on the vacation, with little resistance and no foreseeable benefit. Given that this is Wario, that speaks [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold volumes]].
* What is initially advertised as Orbulon's segment turns out to instead focus on his ship Oinker, who inadvertently causes its master to suffer from EasyAmnesia and then tries to fix his memory. After a successful run, players are treated to a montage of them living their lives together, followed by a heartfelt reunion. One with [[BananaPeel an untimely interruption]], but the feelings were there. Bonus points for showing Orbulon's memories of his father, Papa Orb, and what appears to be a pet, Omni Nom.

* In a Japanese Blog for Smooth Moves in which multiple Warioware characters do in-universe posts, Ashley orders Red to write her blog post for her, and Red uses the time to recount the day they visited a river where a family of monkeys happily played, with Ashley staring wistfully into the distance, the circumstances apparently reminding her of her parents. The replies from the other characters are genuinely sympathetic to her, especially Mona:

Even if he doesn’t like being called a pet, it’s certainly sweet that the family still treats him well.
