* ''Pony Life'' was announced a month after ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' ended, which was pretty bittersweet for some ''FIM'' fans who were worried that we wouldn't see the Mane 6 again in animated form.[[note]]This was also before the clipshow episodes were suddenly revealed.[[/note]] All things considered, it was pretty sweet of Creator/{{Hasbro}} to give us something while we wait for G5 and what it will bring. It's said best by Applejack in the first episode:

* While many reboots based on well-known franchises tend to replace the voice actors of the previous incarnation ([[WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls2016 one of them]] being a reboot of one of the shows from Creator/LaurenFaust's husband, Creator/CraigMcCracken), it was pretty refreshing and sweet to see that the voices for the Mane 6 are still retained. The iconic actors are still voicing the same characters they've voiced for a whole ''decade''.[[note]]Except Spike, who's voiced by Creator/TabithaStGermain instead of Creator/CathyWeseluck. She was offered by Creator/{{Hasbro}} to reprise her role, but she happily declined. This also applies to Discord, who is now voiced by Creator/PeterNew instead of Creator/JohnDeLancie.[[/note]]

When Twilight sees Pinkie Pie drinking her potions, she doesn't get mad at her at all, merely shaking her head and smiling as if she excepted this to happen. After turning Pinkie back to normal, the two have a hoofbump.

After falling on her cake, Pinkie Pie begins to cry. Rainbow Dash starts to laugh but stops after seeing how upset she is. So what does Rainbow do? Deliberately fall on her own cake. The short ends with the two sharing a laugh with each other.

When Rainbow Dash sees Rarity grabbing the trophy, she thinks Rarity is going to take it for herself. However, Rarity decides to give the trophy to Rainbow despite her thinking Rarity's statue is much better than hers. The two come down to a compromise, handing each other the trophy by making a statue of each other.

It's a ''Franchise/MyLittlePony'' show, what'd you expect? [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments It's a sweet life]], after all.

* The Mane 6 are always hugging and caring for one another, and it's clear that they're still the bestest of friends. It's ''adorable''.
* The Mane 6 laughing and hugging each other after Pinkie falls from out of nowhere onto their sundae in the theme song.

* When Rainbow tries to suppress her emotions for the final event in Dishwater Slog's Fail-Off, Slog trips her young fan, Smallfry, making him cry. Rainbow ''immediately'' [[FriendToAllChildren breaks her stoic demeanor to make sure he's all right]]. Even if she's passionate about winning a competition, [[UndyingLoyalty she still cares deeply about her friends and fans]].

* Rarity notices that Applejack is going through an [[LossOfIdentity identity crisis]] due to everypony wearing her signature hat. Seeing as how Rarity was the one to start the hat trend in the first place, after noticing Applejack's "squishy cube thing" she decides to make that the next trend so that Applejack doesn't feel non-unique.

* While PlayedForLaughs Gummy fighting Rarity to prevent her from stealing Pinkie's recipe is sweet.

* At the end of episode, Pinkie receives a letter to enter the Royal Jelly Juggernaut All Stars Chefs Spinoff showing that while she didn't win, she impressed the judges enough to be given a second chance.

** And the machine they build is a new oven to replace her old one!

** She triggers a volcanic eruption just in the hopes to catch his attention so he can join the fun.

* Small details, like hearts appearing around Fluttershy after Discord saves them, and Discord wagging his tail when she brings up the idea of a Solo Scout.

* Fluttershy forgiving her friends for lying to her about the Trail Trotters by pointing out that even though everything they did was fake it was real to her.
