* The final shot of the show's usual time frame, shortly after Twilight's coronation, where Twilight (with tears in her eyes) thanks Celestia for everything Celestia has done for her, following by a large group hug between the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, Celestia, and Luna.

* Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle choosing to come with Scootaloo, with Bloom saying [=AppleJack=] would do the same for ''her'' friends. Scootaloo hugging her best friends is equally heartwarming, showing [[TrueCompanions how truly close they’ve become.]]

** Meta example - Discord evolving to genuine friendship can also be seen as a parallel to John [=DeLancie's=] evolving commitment to MLP:[=FiM=]. In the beginning, playing Discord was [[MoneyDearBoy just another paycheck for DeLancie;]] a role which he promptly forgot about. But now, he's become so much a part of ''Friendship is Magic'' that he evolved from 'Special Guest Star'-status to being a regular voice actor for the show! If you listen to Discord's above speech with this in mind, it becomes a happy TearJerker as well.

* Here's an overlooked meta one: this is the first time we get to hear Derpy speak since her return, in a normal episode which is neither a milestone nor a special. Looks like her character image is finally fully accepted.

** Meta example: Clear Sky and Wind Sprint are voiced by the wife and daughter of Quibble Pants' voice actor Creator/PattonOswalt.
** Also, before even Patton himself was on the show, he talked about how his daughter Alice was just as obsessed with it as he was about ''Franchise/StarWars'' at her age, so this must have been a dream come true for her.
** And Alice gets her first exposure as a voice actress under the supervision of both her parents and it's clear she had a ''ball'' with it.

* Just how wise and regal Twilight has become after ruling for so many years, showing herself as a worthy successor to Celestia and Luna, and just how far she's come. It can also be considered a meta moment since former showrunner (and creator) Lauren Faust finally got what she originally planned: for Twilight to ''be'' Celestia's successor.

* Dashie is more concerned about saving Fluttershy from Caballeron than restoring Daring's reputation. It's nice to see her so willing to [[BigSisterInstinct protect her childhood friend from a villain,]] even if in the end it turned out Fluttershy had already [[HeelFaceTurn convinced Caballeron to leave crime behind.]] Rainbow also shows some shades of [[MamaBear]], especially when she yells at Caballeron for manipulating Fluttershy.
* In the end, Daring and the [[HeelFaceTurn reformed]] Caballeron write a new book together, showing that there's [[EasilyForgiven no hard feelings between them]].

** Applejack and RainbowDash arrive together bickering LikeAnOldMarriedCouple about chores. First off, the fact that these two evidently ''live together'', second off, how often would you expect Rainbow Dash to argue with someone because she ''wants'' to help with ''household chores''?

** Fluttershy arrives via Discord's portal who then hands her her lunch and briefly greeting the others before leaving. Fluttershy then mentions that if Discord wasn't going to an O&O convention, he would be joining them, showing how their friendship with Discord has evolved from him being TheFriendNobodyLikes to accepting him as a part of their "Council of Friendship".
