* Snape's occasional PetTheDog moments with the player character, such as giving advice about how they should choose a date for the Celestial Ball, or apologizing for embarrassing them in the Crushing It sidequest. He's probably thinking of [[TheLostLenore Lily]] when his facade briefly cracks and he talks about the player character choosing a date.

** Even though it seems a little harsh, him telling the player character that Penny is throwing her life away by resigning herself to being consumed by grief over her sister is heartwarming in his own way. Penny is apparently avoiding Potion classes entirely - Snape is reaching out to the one non-Slytherin student he is nice to through the player character so she could get help.
** In the "Packmates" side quest, he quickly agrees to show how to brew a Memory Potion when Chiara started crying out of panic because she thought she might have attacked another student in werewolf form.

** Even though the Cursed Vaults are said and done, Jacob is still motivated to track down R. Why? [[BigBrotherInstinct He knows that they are targeting is precious little sibling]] and he won't stop until every single last member of R is taken down. Jacob declares to their sibling that [[DeclarationOfProtection he will do everything he can to protect them]]. The Player happily returns the favor.

* Upon calling Jacob, he greets his little sibling by letting them know that they're his ''favorite'' little sibling. The Player is their only sibling, so it doesn't mean that much, but likes letting them know that. The Player returns the compliment, telling him he's their favorite sibling too.

** Jacob happily reminiscing of childhood memories, particularly telling the Player that they had destroyed their mother's tea set (and got blamed for it) and vase by accidentally as a child. The Player had also apparently laughed a flower back to life, something their mother was quite proud and happy of.
** Right afterwards, he tutors his little sibling on how to do Wandless Magic, in a sweet older brother-y way and assures them that they're on the right path. It seems that after shirking his role as a big brother for too long, Jacob is now making sure he making up for it.

* At the start of Year 7, the Player is burdened by the information that Merula might've joined R and the fact that the rest of their friends seem ready to move on and start a new chapter in their life. Not wanting to drag them down in their personal fight, it leaves the Player without anyone to lean on, the only other person who would've filled that position had been murdered in the previous year. But the Player meets up with the Head Girl/Boy, Corey, who finally provides the player with a place to spill their burdens. Even though Corey will never replace Rowan, it's clear that the Player ''needed'' a friend like Corey.

** Right afterwards, he tutors his little sibling on how to do Wandless Magic, in a sweet older brother-y way and assures them that they're on the right path.

* Though oddly suspicious, the fact that Merula seems quite kind to the Player after she defeats them in a Wandless Duel. She even offers them advice and even [[PetTheDog supports their focus]], especially if it happens to be Rowan.

** Later on, Correy intercepts a Black Quill from Merula, which states that she didn't want to hurt her friends anymore, even if appeared to go against R.

* Even in the extremely tearjerking aftermath of Rowan's death, heartwarming moments shine through. Snape teaching the Potion for Dreamless Sleep. Liz accompanying MC in searching for ingredients so they won't be alone. The normally irreverent and chaotic Tulip being quick to ask how MC is doing.
* In year 6, chapter 43, Ben's "important letter to an important wizard/witch" (year 5, chapter 30) is finally revealed. Some have guessed so because of the gender always being the same as MC's, but not only is it addressed to MC, the letter is Ben expressing that he admired them and is thankful for their friendship in case he didn't make it in the Buried Vault.
* In Chapter 44, MC throwing a party at Three Broomsticks with the help of Penny and Alanza to celebrate the breaking of all curses, where Badeea notes even Snape looks almost happy. Other highlights include Talbott not being big on parties but came to congratulate them anyway, Alanza mentioning that she's staying for year 7, Andre doing a hula hoop dance, Diego doing that John Travolta finger-pointing dance, the normally reserved Badeea [[NotSoAboveItAll jumping like a maniac]], and Penny and Alanza sharing the same dance.

** It doubles even more if the Player's first date and crush is Merula. The Player accurately articulates that Merula still thought their time together was special and she cared about them, even if she didn't act that way. Merula is so surprised by the accuracy that she asks if the Player had read her mind.

* In year 6, chapter 42, when MC & co. are trapped separately in the PsychologicalTormentZone of the Sunken Vault, accompanied only by a black void and hallucinations of their worst memories, one of which was Merula being cruel towards them, you suddenly see [[HeelFaceTurn the real Merula]] stumbling out of the darkness, blindly grabbing MC's hand, and pull them out of the nightmare.
* In year 6, chapter 11, Rowan and MC finally fully reconcile, reminiscing on the good old times.

* In year 6, chapter 44, MC throwing a party at Three Broomsticks with the help of Penny and Alanza to celebrate the breaking of all curses, where Badeea notes even Snape looks almost happy. Other highlights include Talbott not being big on parties but came to congratulate them anyway, Alanza mentioning that she's staying for year 7, Andre doing a hula hoop dance, Diego doing that John Travolta finger-pointing dance, the normally reserved Badeea [[NotSoAboveItAll jumping like a maniac]], and Penny and Alanza sharing the same dance.

Also, during an argument with your friends, Barnaby pleads with Rowan not to fight, because it reminds him of his difficult home life. Rowan, realising they have upset Barnaby, apologises sincerely.

* In a Christmas side quest, your character is spending their holidays at Hogwarts alongside a handful of friends. You can choose to include a lonely Merula in the festivities, and although she resists at first, she ends up having a good time. You can also receive a very sweet hug from Penny.
** Extra points for Molly Weasley ''immediately'' going into ParentalSubstitute mode with Merula, taking no sass and not treating her any differently from any of the other kids. For a little while, Merula's got a caring parent again.
** You can get Merula a present. Peeves helps you out and, surprisingly, is actually sincere in his offer. Not only does Merula like it, she actually gives you a genuine smile and thanks you. She even follows you back over to your friends and awkwardly lingers behind you while you open your own present. The entire interaction comes off as painfully adorable. Later on, Merula teaches you a spell that creates snow, revealing that it was taught to her by her mother and saying it's the only harmless spell her parents showed her. After this, she angrily tells you to leave her alone and that she won't be joining you and your friends in the great hall for dinner. However, at the end of the event, Merula changes her mind and joins you, your friends and Mr and Mrs Weasley in the great hall, even encouraging you to cast the spell that she just taught you. Easily the most heart warming moment in the game so far. Merula may act like she doesn't want to be around you and your friends, but it's clear from this that deep down she's just happy someone cares.
* 2019's Christmas sidequest has the player being invited by Bill to visit the Burrow and have Christmas with the Weasleys. Despite [[NiceJobBreakingItHero a comedy of errors]] ensuing due to their eagerness to be a good guests and forcing a late arrival, the gathering goes splendidly, and even Merula gets to enjoy the festivities. Molly even knitted her a green jumper with a Slytherin "S" design.
* In the animagus side quest you meet Talbott, an introverted Ravenclaw with a troubled past. Much like Merula, he isn't interested in being your friend. By the end of the quest however, you've earned his trust, and he even admits that he feels better for having told you about the deaths of his parents.
** In your fifth year, you sort of bond with Ismelda, and help her deal with her crush on Barnaby. Ultimately, he doesn't like her back, but she handles the rejection with surprising maturity and thanks your character for helping her.
* Chiara giving her Wolfsbane Potion to Lupin, thinking he needs it more.
** After you support her through a full moon, she gives you the photo of a sunrise Lupin gave her. Taken by his friend Prongs.

* Barnaby and Rowan's friendship. Rowan apparently tutors Barnaby sometimes, and he pays attention when Rowan gives lectures in History of Magic. Also, during an argument with your friends, Barnaby pleads with Rowan not to fight, because it reminds him of his difficult home life. Rowan, realising they have upset Barnaby, apologises sincerely.
* The Celestial Ball side quest is this overall, with the MC taking their date of choice on a very sweet date with their crush where they compliment each other and get on the floor together. It turns out that all eight options actually had the MC as their first choice for a date. For added heartwarming appeal, one can choose Merula, who seems positively delighted at being asked. She even (very bashfully) admits that she was going to ask them but didn't know how to go about doing it.
** There's also this one line from the MC that they'll sometimes say when you click on them during the activity that really makes the fact that they took the girl who was once their biggest foe that much sweeter:
--> "I have the best date at the whole ball!"

* The First Date is here and you can choose to date Barnaby, Talbott, Andre, Merula, Penny, or Tulip with either sex of MC. Each unique date has their own unique dialogue and acknowledges past events like if you took them to the Celestial ball. It's incredibly sweet to see the main character act like just a normal teenager and each date enjoys their time in their own way.
** Even though the date at the tea shop got botched because Tonks accidentally broke a large tower of tea cups, and every date is insecure in their own way about how the date went [[note]]Penny worries she is a "good friend but a bad date", Tulip worries that she talks about Dennis too much, Merula acts like her {{tsundere}}, overly competitive self and bitterly says she was set up to fail, Barnaby is insecure about his eyebrows, the more withdrawn Talbott is just afraid of hearing MC saying they had a bad time, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Andre thinks MC secretly hates his bowtie]][[/note]], MC would reassure them and they enjoy themselves stargazing together, holding hands.
** Continued with Valentine's Day (even if it turned out to be a dastardly Lockhart plot). The characters would remember if you took them to previous dating events, and there is an additional CallBack to First Date, where MC says "Yes" to being their date, with the character briefly mistaking MC as saying "yes" to something else they said (in First Date it was the opposite).

* Penny and Beatrice's three-part reconciliation. First in chapter 19 Beatrice encourages Penny to go and grieve with her friends and says she's staying to help at the hospital wing, surprising Penny that she's talking to her and being mature, and saying she's growing up to be a fine young witch. Beatrice says she's sorry about Rowan and starts to sniffle and Penny pulls her in a big hug. And then in chapter 20 when Penny finds Beatrice with Ismelda and Merula, she tells Beatrice she lost Rowan and she can't lose her too and begs her to not push her away, before bursting into tears. When Ismelda says that Penny cries a lot and might not be cut out for their mission (which is about as much empathy [[ComedicSociopathy Ismelda]] is capable of expressing), Beatrice defends her and says she wants Penny to stay. In chapter 28, after MC saves Beatrice from drowning and helps her make peace with her past trauma, she tells Penny how she's now able to move on without letting go of who she's become.
* The "Searching For A Comet" side quest. After being given a Comet Broom by Skye for making the Quidditch team but finding it missing, the Player forms a secret team with her, Orion and Murphy to find it. The Player can take the blame twice in the search, and ends up improving their relationship with their teammates.
* In the O.W.L. side quest, much of it outside the exams are friends helping each other study, or dealing with issues preventing them from doing it well.
** MC being very firm to [[TokenEvilTeammate Jae]] that Penny is not going to buy any cheating equipment, and helps Penny with her revision as well.
** MC helps an overstressed Rowan relax by playing with Borf, a wolf pup that bonded with Chiara. It is also a rare moment when you can hear the quiet and withdrawn Chiara laugh.
** MC and Charlie convinces Andre to revise.
** MC and Ben help Tonks with her confidence over her Auror aspirations.
** MC and Tonks stopping Tulip from pranking the revising students, and helping her because she is feeling lost about her future.
* In the year 6 Head Boy/Girl sidequest, MC's DeadPersonConversation with Rowan is both incredibly tearjerking and heartwarming, with Rowan encouraging them to work towards becoming Head Boy/Girl despite that it was Rowan's dream. Afterwards, MC, still lost and distraught, is joined by Chiara, who is exceedingly gentle and understanding. MC also comes across several professors and almost all their friends (which MC later reflects on, adding that includes [[MyFriendsAndZoidberg Ismelda]], who was [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments sleeping in the classroom]] while they talked to Binns), all with their own perspectives, on a journey of tearful and heartfelt reminiscence, new revelations, and moving forward.
