Troper Tales. Also comment out a ZCE.

* This troper's production of Godspell has quite a few of these. During ''Day by Day'', Jesus teaches Robin sign language, including a hand sign for "three things I pray". The song ends with Robin leaning on Jesus' shoulder, in one of the cutest moments of the show. Later on, during their farewells in ''On the Willows'', Robin and Jesus exchange the hand sign again. Also doubles as a {{Tear Jerker}}.
** The movie version of ''Day by Day'' is heartwarming too. There’s just something adorable about watching the cast play around in the scrapyard like little kids, dancing and painting everything bright colors.
*** There's quite a subtle "fridge heartwarming" aspect to the movie's "Day By Day" - in it, they're painting and decorating the junkyard as well as generally tidying up before they leave. They are, in essence, leaving the "world" in a better state than how they found it for no other reason than it makes them happy to do so.

* The "Long Live God/Day By Day" segment of the finale can be very heartwarming if done right, especially coming on the heels of the [[{{Tearjerker}} devastating Betrayal/Crucifixion sequence]]. With Jesus dead and his friends emotionally wrecked, the slow build up of the "Long live God" tune as they take him down and its segue into a positively joyful reprise of "Day By Day" just drives home the main point of the show (Jesus' teachings of love and forgiveness), despite the absence of an explicit resurrection.

* "Save The People" has some serious potential to be a CMOH. The lyrics certainly are, to say the least. Unfortunately, many productions don't do this particular song justice. The song is generally supposed to be upbeat and hopeful, and when everyone's dancing and singing and putting their all into it, this song can be a huge CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming.
