* The whole fanclub building exercise in episode 28 is a hidden piece of heartwarming. That Ibuki and Kodama stuck with Agedaman even as he showed his weak side and continued to support him even as everyone else flocked to Brandman was only the tip of the iceberg. Here's the underwater part:
** Though Uroncha took care of making the fangoods, someone still had to make and distribute the publicity material so people all over town would even know there is a fanclub (the Kukis, having money, merely advertised in a newspaper).
** Then there is the small matter of getting land-use permission for the fanclub opening ceremony, especially when you don't have some adults (and preferably some money, stature and/or influence) on your side.
** Well, maybe the other girls can help in the above, but they won't be much help in sourcing then assembling the wood and other materials for the stage. Only Ibuki has the body strength and dedication if you take Furusawa's (large girl in pink) gag scene seriously, she might have the strength, but given how quickly she turned to Brandman, she won't have the dedication to go to all the effort. It is actually a little tearjerking to imagine one small girl hauling planks larger than herself, securing all the parts together, and painting all the right places. As for the idea she got some help, that will depend on her having connections the show never depicted, while Ibuki's body strength is well established by episode 28. And it would still be quite a feat, if in a different direction. \\
The resulting stages are shown on the upper-right - remember Omyomiko's stage used 3 men and 4 boys to put together. The difference in love and sense (understanding of their respective shows’ protagonists and how to bring out the best in them) is palpable:
*** Superficially, Omyomiko's stage is prettier and less rough. However, much of the superstructure is made of a mix of cloth, cardboard and very thin plywood - the light construction makes it easier to cut things like stars into it. However, the stage still looks amateurish and cheap compared to the newspaper advertisement and the expensive gifts. When something starts "high-budget", people expect to see quality to the last, and this stage simply falls short.\\
Further, though Rei bet that Omyomiko would sell because people want to see cool female villains (which can work), the light pastel colors on the sides contradicts this theme. Ironically, the curtain is dark and a relatively good fit, but it is recessed when its protagonist is on-stage. When the curtain is opened, the pastels fill the entire background and clashes with what it intends to promote.
*** Meanwhile, Agedaman's stage is made of solid wood, strong & thick enough for Agedaman to jump on even weaker parts like signage with confidence. Aesthetically, the stage uses Agedaman's primary colors in a way does not steal the show from the protagonist. Further though it is simple everyone can see this side is the zero-budget production and would likely appreciate what was accomplished more.
** Having readied the stage, Ibuki acts the next day as the MC, never letting any fatigue show. She actually outdoes the 3 MenInBlack as the MC too - they are doing their jobs; Ibuki is enthusiastic in an infectious way that outdoes any effect by drums.
*** For his part, Agedaman shows no gingerness in stepping on the temporary structure, displaying his trust in its maker.
** Having ensured Agedaman's show beat Omyomiko's, Ibuki then romps far and wide to gather sufficient requests for 3 months in only one day. The next day, again she shows up and acts as the MC as if nothing had happened.
** Overall, for all of Agedaman's whines about being tired, Ibuki must have spent ten times more time and effort on the fanclub's events, and all without a single protest or even comment on how hard she had to work to put everything together. When Agedaman gapes at that notebook, does he realize that Ibuki has committed herself to being present every minute he is on stage, plus extra because she has to coordinate each show with its applicant and clean up after each event is done? He doesn't, but we can.
** When she realized all this publicity was a drain on Agedaman's kiai energy reserve, she took the blame and without a complaint managed the aftermath (clearing out those 3 months worth of already-scheduled requests) such that Agedaman didn't look bad for it. Ibuki coordinated things so he still received fanmail and fan goods were available through episode 36. A most heartwarming show of love all around. Aww...

A most heartwarming show of love.love all around. Aww...

*** Superficially, Omyomiko's stage is prettier and less rough. However, much of the superstructure is made of cloth, cardboard or at best very thin plywood - the lightness of its construction makes it easier to cut things like stars into it. Further, it still looks like an amateur's piece of work which is a letdown compared to the newspaper advertisement, and airy pastel colors clashes with Omyomiko's image. The curtain is dark and clashes the least, but it is recessed when the heroine is on and thus useless.
*** Meanwhile, Agedaman's stage is made of solid wood, strong & thick enough for Agedaman to jump onto it with confidence. Further, the stage uses Agedaman's primary colors and simple enough for the hero to take the stage. It's simple, but everyone knows this side is the zero-budget production and would likely appreciate what was done more.
** Having put everything together, she acts the next day as the MC, never letting any fatigue show. She actually outdoes the 3 MIB as the MC too - they are doing their jobs. Ibuki is enthusiastic in an infectious way.
** Having ensured Agedaman's show beat Omyomiko's, she then runs around and in one day gathers sufficient requests for 3 months. All that running around can't be free. The next day, again she shows up and acts as the MC as if nothing had happened.
