* Keyleth managing to revive Grog in episode 3.

** Clarota's journey with the team is this in general. The team doesn't assume AlwaysChaoticEvil and is willing to ally with him, they stand up to Kima for his sake, and they're fully intending to keep their deal with him. Likewise, Clarota seems to have opened up more, and while he's hardly ''friendly'' it's not a stretch to say he's far more comfortable.
** When the situation with Kima is very narrowly defused, Travis takes a quick poll of who would have taken which side. Marisha, Sam, and Orion would have all sided with Clarota, as would the stream audience (and Taliesin and Liam would have tried to stay neutral).
* Vox Machina reuniting with Pike in episode 4. And as an added bit of awesome, the first roll Ashley makes is a natural 20.
* Even though they had a hard time trusting each other since joining forces, when Lady Kima is petrified in episode 7 Clarota immediately gets her out of the battlefield quickly filling with lava. Vax makes a point of telling this to Kima in the next episode.
* In episode 9, Vax, Percy, and Tiberius letting a panicking Keyleth know that [[YouAreNotAlone she isn't alone]], and Vox Machina will get through this situation together.
** This is repeated both en route to Vasselheim and in the village of Pyra, where the whole party reassures Keyleth that they will be by her side and support her when she meets the Fire Ashari.
* The question and answer session after episode 10 is one for the players. The campaign started as a birthday gift for Liam, who wanted to play a one-off with his friends. They ended up enjoying it so much that it continued, and obviously does so to this day. Liam even describes the group as being a second family to him, and also mentions how he currently is the dungeon master for a game played by his son and some of his son's friends.
* When asked about Tiberius' siblings on Twitter, Orion explained that they all happen to have metallic colors, while Tiberius is a chromatic color. While that might be expected to cause some tension due to the usual assumption of metallic=good and chromatic=evil, Orion says the siblings get on very well. We even see a touch of this in episode 10, where Tiberius sends a magical letter to his brother Jerahd asking for any clues about K'varn, and Jerahd replies as soon as he can and is sincerely sorry when he can't help his brother out.
* The sheer outpouring of love and support from the fandom, as well. When the initial run of t-shirts was announced live on the stream, they sold out ''before the announcement finished.''
* In Episode 11, Keyleth working with Kima to [[FastballSpecial throw Kima at K'varn.]] Sure it seemed more out of necessity, than anything else, but given the way the two behaved to each other, it's nice to see the two of them working together.

* Starting June 19th, most of the cast and crew were away at E3, or recovering from it. During the rebroadcast marathon, viewership at times still reached 1500+ people. That shows that the fans are so dedicated to Critical Role. It's safe to say that Critter Love runs deep.
* In episode 10's Q&A, the players all get ''so'' excited about their viewers potentially meeting their favourite NPC, Gilmore. When Gilmore does show up in Episode 14 they can't stop giggling. It's one of the best testaments to the world that Matt has built for them, and how much they love his characters, and how excited they are to share it all.

** Also in Episode 15, one of the NPC guards protecting the horn of K'varn is named Vorack, in honor of a member of the fan community who had recently undergone surgery following a serious accident.
* In his own way, Scanlan's farewell to Pike at the end of episode 16.

* Episodes 18 + 19 are heartwarming in the way that the audience immediately latched on to the characters of Lyra and Zahra and the people who played them [[Creator/FeliciaDay Felicia Day]] and [[Creator/MaryElizabethMcGlynn Mary Elizabeth McGlynn]] respectively.

* Despite being somewhat bemused and frustrated by her, the gang generally treats Lyra quite well, to the point where she admits they're the first real ''friends'' she's ever had. Scanlan even talks her up to the guild mistress, claiming that she's the only leader they'd want to have.

* Episode 20, for as rough and tumble as Thorbir is, buying a small mask for a small girl (confirmed in the next episode to be his daughter).

* Episode 21: Much like how Vex and Zahra came to be friends by the end of their mission, so did Vax and Thorbir.

As Vax tells her, "That was your past. This is your future."
