* One of the most heartwarming moments in the whole series - Louise originally states to her parents that Gene doesn't really feel like a big brother to her because he doesn't do stereotypical "big brother" things like call her nicknames or fight off bullies for her. Later, when Louise is so afraid upon being cornered by an enraged Logan that she actually starts to cry, Gene throws himself in front of her, takes the punishment in her place, and on the way home Louise hugs him and thanks him for being a good big brother. It even manages to provide the page image.

* Bob is wholly supportive and encouraging of Louise, even when she*s having a crisis over not knowing how to handle Amelia Earharts story.h+ He gently encourages her to rewrite her ending. In general, the whole family may express a bit of surprise at Louise's newfound ambition, but they all encourage it.
* On the B-plot side, the whole family agrees to hire a masseuse student to give Linda the home spa day she wanted, which is a very sweet gesture. And aside from the mildly awkward way he enters their home and Linda seeming mildly out off at first, it goes off without a hitch for a change.

* Each of the stories involve Tina's completely platonic friend and roommate Rudy in some respect. However Louise feels about Rudy, be it romantic or just very close friends, her family seems to have picked up on how important he is to her. On her end she doesn't question the fact that she might want to be (totally platonic) partners with Rudy in the future. This is a far cry from season 1 Louise, whose only friends were lackies who she wanted to manipulate.

* After Tina embarrasses herself in front of the cool teens she tried to impress, the whole family is shown to be concerned for her. Linda empathizes with Tina for trying to fit in with others, but it's more important to be true to yourself and what you like. While this doesn't make Tina feel better, she does thank Linda for trying to cheer her up.
* In the montage that plays after her embarrassing incident, Tina slowly but surely begins to feel better, deciding to go back to listening to music she likes and wearing her old clothes. Soon enough, she's back to goofing off with her brother and sister at the dinner table.

* In Bob's story, the second Gertie realizes that Mr. Miller (revealed to be a German spy) is legitimately threatening both her daughter and granddaughter, she goes on the offensive, stomping on Miller's hand when he makes a grab for Alice. Gertie may snark at her daughter a lot, but [[MamaBear that doesn't mean anyone is allowed to mess with her family]].

[[AC:[[Recap/BobsBurgersS13E22Amelia Amelia]]]]
* After Louise has spent the entire episode agonizing over her personal hero report on Amelia Earhart, it's Linda who reassures her that even though Amelia didn't achieve her dream of flying a plane around the world, her story is still important because she became an inspiration to other little girls regardless. Louise, in turn, apologizes to Linda for freaking out about her report on Mother's Day, and also thanks Linda for never telling her empty platitudes such as "girls can do anything boys can do."
* The episode's credits shows Louise and Linda cutting out shadow puppets in Louise's bedroom and clearly enjoying each other's company.

* This episode might actually have one of the sweetest Belcher family moments to date. After learning that the author of a children's book series Bob and Linda used to read to Tina, Gene, and Louise comes to visit the restaurant, Linda reminisces on said times that they read the series to Tina, Gene, and Louise. Not only do they look absolutely adorable younger, but it's just so endearing seeing not only Linda but Bob, read the series to their kids with such joy and enthusiasm. Bob even accidentally falls asleep at one point!

* Louise having her HeelFaceTurn regarding passing off the ceramics room pottery as handmade gifts to their grandparents, agreeing with Tina that "a lie is a crappy gift", in addition to not wanting to be a neurotic guilt-saddled mess like Mr. Frond. In addition, Tina trying to convince Mr. Frond to own up to his mistake so that he'd be more relatable to students and therefore a better guidance counselor. Unfortunately, he's such a jackass it doesn't land, but at least she tried, which is more than the Belcher kids usually do for him.
