This doesn’t happen in the show.

* Tina's friendliness towards Susmita. Tina's awkward mix of outgoing and deadpan usually puts people off, but a lonely shy girl like Susmita benefited from someone going out of their way to befriend her. Even though other kids at Wagstaff might think Tina is a dork, her unflinching kindness was enough to convince Susmita to give school another chance.

* This episode as a whole is one giant heartwarming moment after another. If there were ever a list for most heartwarming ''Bob's Burgers'' episodes, "Hawk & Chick" would be a serious contender for the top position. It's just ''that'' sweet[[note]]It also counts as a meta-example; Creator/KristenSchaal won an UsefulNotes/AnnieAward for her performance as Louise in this episode[[/note]].

** It's also hinted that Jimmy has all this cool stuff in his apartment, but no one to share it with; in contrast to Bob, who has very little material possessions but has a loving family. Enjoying the stuff together is a good way for each of them to share what they have with the other.
* The main plot involves Kaylee's attempts to get her parents to homeschool her instead of public school, and asks Louise to help her pull off a prank big enough to do the job. Louise is happy to mentor her at first, but once she learns that Kaylee's trying to avoid having to deal with ''any''one outside her home, she struggles with it before ultimately putting a stop to it, as she thinks Kaylee should give the school a better shot. The episode ends with Kaylee having joined up with the Think-gineers, and starting to fit in much better with her new environment.
** When Louise and Kaylee get pulled into Frond's office for the aborted prank, they successfully clear the air about the situation and no punishments are handed out as no harm was done. Just as they're wrapping up, Rudy barges into the office to try TakingTheHeat for the prank, as the Think-gineers were consulted on a catapult design for it. It didn't actually ''do'' anything, but that may have influenced Kaylee's decision to join the group.
