[[folder: Ichinose & Hiragis ]]

''THIS QUESTION ITSELF IS AN SPOILER, SO BEWARE''

* Technically speaking, wouldn't the Ichinose be descendants of the Hiragi? It's funny to think about since both families have a long history of despising each other, but, you see, the reason both clans split up was because a guy from the Hiragi family fell in love with an Ichinose girl, and so did his younger brother, but the girl loved the younger one so the eldest became so jealous he raped the chick and then castrated his brother, but the Ichinose woman got pregnant and she couldn't have had any kids with the other, and even if she had, their descendants would still have Hiragi blood in them... Didn't anyone think of that?

** I mean, if you think about it, almost everyone in the Squad is/was bitchy, except for Yoichi. Kimizuki was an ass when they met him, Yu was as well, obsessed with his revenge and all, Shinoa was bitchy in a different sense, even Narumi was kind of iritating, but they also give us good reasons to explain their behavior. They live in an awful world and have to act tough half the time, give them a rest.

** Well, Kagami did say Mitsuba has ''something'' awaiting her, so we'll just have to wait and see if she gets an interesting power-up or some different background.

* This same kind of question is asked in the novels, how is it that the Hīragi became such a powerful household? [[spoiler: it's true we later find out Shikama Doji's influence had something to do with it, since the guy possesed the Hīragi family's leaders, but still...]] It's mentioned it's been this way for almost 500 years, so... What did the Hīragi ''exactly'' do to become powerful? [[spoiler: What did they do to become "cursed" by Shikama Doji?]] Were they always so nasty and ruthless? Did they become like that because of external influence? I mean, I figured they've must been this way since before Tenri was born, because he was forced to do some awful stuff in order to get to where he was, so I thought his father might've acted the same way Tenri acted towards his children, if not, they wouldn't have been okay with the fact he killed his 40 goddamn siblings.

*** Aoi isn't a GoldDigger, doesn't have to be, she's from a big family. I think she likes him because he's quite literally the only man she's spent her life with, and every retainer of a BigFamily is taught to devote themselves to their máster, we see the same with Guren and his retainers, Sayuri and Shigure.

** Well, Tenri was never really okay with Kureto dating Aoi since he had a strong policy of not having companions nor feelings 'cause they'd both "make you weak". Kureto realized this in the novels [[spoiler: when Tenri has Aoi's leg sniped off and threatens him to use her as a hostage the same way he used Shinoa to blackmail Mahiru.]] So no, they weren't really okay with it, I'm sure Tenri would've rather find Kureto a fianceé who could bear stronger, superior children.

*** Have you guys been paying attention? Mitsuba was upset over the promotion because she knows she only got it because she was a Sangu, not because she ''actually'' deserved it. And she has a big inferiority complex with Aoi, remember? Also, about the "she got a whole squad murdered and hit a boy for saving a kid" thing. The squad got killed since she broke formation to save a comrade who was was in danger. Plus she was still only ''THIRTEEN'' at the time. Come joining the Shinoa Squad, Yu goes against orders to save a little girl (similar to her breaking formation to rescue a comrade (the girl was also established to be bait from the vampires)). It's natural that she'd get upset at someone for doing the same thing that caused her old team's demise. The slap is still uncalled for, but not from pettiness. She doesn't act the way she does for "no reason" and does have a background that explains it. That said, she could use more plot relevance and definitely benefit from it.

* Do you guys think [[BitchInSheepsClothing Yoichi]] will kill Lacus? In [[spoiler: chapter 51, he confessed to his demon Gekkoin that he actually has a dark side and he's secretly very violent, wants to punish Lacus so badly that Lacus will regret being born. Look at the potential you have here. So far, the only vampires that we've seen that have loved ones are Mika, Krul and mayyyyybe Crowley, but Lacus has one too, even though he's not as important as them. Vampires caring for each other is really rare, and it's interesting seeing one actually cares. Lacus shows concern for Mika even though he doesn't return his feelings. He even asks if Krul was the one who [[AccidentalInnuedo turned him]]. You can chalk it up to him wanting to climb the popularity ladder, but I don't think that's the case. And, unlike Ferid and Crowley, he's not doing it for the sake of entertainment. He actually does seem like a genuinely NiceGuy. Proof? He was Renè's, first friend. Stoic, aloof, cold, formal Renè's first and best friend. I know when a human turns into a vampire they lose their emotions and blablabla, but Lacus looks like he still has that social, friendly, bubbly charm in him. My point is, Lacus is a good character and shouldn't be killed off. In fact, I think he's actually even nicer than Yoichi. If Yoichi kills him off, I'm going to hate Yoichi. Lacus is pretty interesting, and I can't wait for Kagami to give us an insight into his life and backstory, and why he's like that.

[[folder: Mika and Krul's relationship]]

* (This is meta)

Why do people say that Mika and Krul have a mother/son relationship? Clearly anyone with a brain, eyes and common sense can tell, THEY DO NOT HAVE A MOTHER/SON RELATIONSHIP.

First, Krul turns Mika into vampire. How does she do this? By kissing him on the lips. If you think that's normal behaviour for a mom and her son, you are clearly f*** in the head. What sort of mom kisses her son on the lips? No mom does, obviously, unless she's a paedophile and needs to go to jail. Now you can argue the kiss was the only way to get blood in his mouth, but remember, she was right on top of him, so she could have slit her wrists and gotten the blood down him. She obviously loves him.

Secondly, their relationship is literally a sex metaphor. Think of it. The vampire on vampire bite is described as 'granting a feeling of immense immoral pleasure', not 'heated up' like the vampire on human bite. As described on the "Does This Remind You Of Anything" on the manga page, it's basically them having sex.

And the way she uses double entendre while stroking his hair. She tells him to 'give his body what it desires' and 'her loyal servant for all of eternity'.

I know she called him her son, but in the Japanese raws, vampires refer to the vampire they turned as 子(こramji: ko), which translates as child. However, Krul called Mika her son(息子、むすこ, romaji: musuko), which indicates her affection for him.

In the Japanese text, the sires of vampires refer to the vampires they turned as child. However, Krul did not refer Mika as her child. Instead, she referred to him in a more intimate form

So why do people say that?

** Yeah. It's not only that what creeps me out, but Krul is FOURTEEN. HOW CAN SHE BE A PARENT? Yeah I know about her being over 1200 chronologically, but biologically she is still FOURTEEN, and she cannot be a parent. It scares me, and makes me think of teenage pregnancy. Many 14 year olds could die from being parents. And Mika is 16, and that leaves a LOT of UnfortunateImplications
** I really, really don't like the Mama Krul thing. I want to punch my screen with my bare fist every time I see anyone call her that. It's disturbing how the fans call a girl who's barely reached menstruation age a 'mom' and try to glorify it. Even if it's adoptive, it's still not okay. And every time anyone brings up the Mika/Krul pairing, people shout EEEWWW!!! GROSS!!! while defending.....well you know what they defend. Mika never refers to Krul as his mom, not even once or even a hint of anything referring to it, he always addresses her by her first name, and that's not how a mother/son relationship works.
** I think they do it because Mikrul has a higher chance of happening than Mika/Yuu. Come on. They kissed, Mika and Yuu haven't, she constantly uses double entendre while stroking his hair, Yuu doesn't do anything of the sort and their vampire feeding sessions are basically sex that's been going on for 4 years. They're basically a married couple.
*** Uh, no? They do it because they see their relationship as a mom and son one, and it's easy to see why. Also, Krul only kissed him to transmit blood into him and make him into a vampire, nothing very romantic. Krul even called him her son once. Why are you guys forgetting this? Reread the manga if you need to. Ship whatever you want, but damn.

[[folder: Mika and Krul's relationship]]

*(This is meta)

Why do people say that Mika and Krul have a mother/son relationship? Clearly anyone with a brain, eyes and common sense can tell, THEY DO NOT HAVE A MOTHER/SON RELATIONSHIP.

First, Krul turns Mika into vampire. How does she do this? By kissing him on the lips. If you think that's normal behaviour for a mom and her son, you are clearly f***** in the head.

Mitsuba - annoying typical anime tsundere with no distinctive qualities or characteristics, nothing interesting about her, slapped a boy for saving a kid, threw an unnecessary tantrum in S2 ep1 (who throws a tantrum over a PROMOTION) only exists for the Shinoa/Mitsuba/Yu love triangle and a fellow girl for Shinoa, nothing good about her.

** It'd be amazing you all stopped sexualizing a two minor's relationship.

But the thing is, I don't want Lacus to die. In fact, I think he's one of the best characters of the show. Think of it. One of the reasons Lacus appeals to me so much is that you see, vampires are supposed to be 'OMG we have no emotions/loved ones, romance and friendship is for suckas'. But [[spoiler: Lacus isn't like that. Even though he doesn't look it, he's actually friendly, kind and caring. Even though Mika brushes him off, he still tries to be kind to him and tries to be his friend. And this is what strikes me - Lacus, a vampire who sees humans as mere livestock - has no qualms and is even open and encouraging to be friends with Mika. Every time I see Mika ignore him or brush him off, it kinda hurts me because Lacus just wants to be friends.]] You can do so many interesting things with this character. Lacus is pretty interesting, and I can't wait for Kagami to give us insight if his life and backstory, and why he's like that.
