** He did call it “one of his old drawings” when he realized Georgie had used it to patch the kite, so it’s safe to assume he did it when he was younger. He could’ve not realized what the share certificate was at the time, or reasoned that his drawing wouldn’t risk being thrown away if he used it, and then forgotten he’d done so years later.
