* So like…why not just make another franchise since this barely has any connection to 1 2 or Before The Storm, (other than one character and even then there’s no tie with her) the devs wanted it to be a “fresh start where anyone could jump in” but like…why not just make it a new world since it doesn’t really seem necessary to make this a part of Life Is Strange other than marketing reasons

Ryan would of had to explain what he had done during the investigation into Gabe's death, and it's possible that whoever was overseeing that ended up passing on the details to someone else, who in turn told someone ''else'' and that's all that's needed for supposedly private information to get out into the public.
