* There's a scene where Klaus and Olaf are arguing when Olaf just hauls off and smacks Klaus in the face. Violet is angered at this to the point of calling Olaf a monster but she doesn't report this physical abuse to Mr. Poe at all, not even when he's personally escorting them between guardians. Why the Hell not?

They probably realized that it wouldn't work if they tried and decided to use their energy thinking up a more feasible solution, rather than waste time.
