* ''Series/WandaVision'': Episode 6 (inspired by ''Series/MalcolmInTheMiddle'') is set during Halloween in the 2000s. Wanda, Vision and others [[MythologyGag dress up in their comics-accurate costumes]], [[CheapCostume but the costumes are cheap and tacky looking]].

** Season 2 had "[[{{Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E6Halloween}} Halloween]]", where the trick-or-treaters in Sunnydale are subjected to a literal case of BecomingTheCostume thanks to Giles' former friend, Ethan Rayne. This unfortunately includes Buffy, who chose to dress up as an 18th century lady in an effort to impress Angel, and becomes a DistressedDamsel for the duration of the spell. And just when you think things couldn't get any worse, Spike finds out about Ethan's antics through Drusilla, and comes pretty close to offing Buffy.

** Season 6 had "[[{{Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS6E6AllTheWay}} All The Way]]", where Dawn sneaks out to raise hell with her friend Janice and a couple boys, only to discover they're part of a group of vampires trying to rebel against the "Halloween holiday" spirit. Also provides setup for some of the events in "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS6E7OnceMoreWithFeeling Once More, With Feeling]]". (Willow using a spell on Tara, Xander and Anya's engagement, Giles's fear that Buffy isn't taking responsibility because of him)

Befitting its nature as a Halloween episode, instead of the normal fonts shown for the episode title, as well as the end credits, the episode's title and credits are all decked out in the Halloween font.

** "Halloween" in the first season centers on a bet between Holt and Peralta. Halloween is a busy holiday for cops and Amy hates it, thinking it makes everyone get drunk and act like a jerk. Charles tries to make her like it.
** "Halloween II" in the second season is a sequel episode and establishes that the bet will be an annual thing.
** "Halloween III" has the competition start to include the rest of the precinct. It involves a {{Macguffin}} that must be recovered by midnight.
** "Halloween IV" continued the tradition with an elaborate heist to decide who is the "Ultimate Detective Slash Genius".
** "[=HalloVeen=]" is a season 5 episode of Halloween Heist series. It involves retrieving a wrestling Champion belt, and ends with [[spoiler:Jake proposing to Amy]].

* The last episode of ''Series/DeadLikeMe'' which featured a SerialKiller.

* ''Series/BarneyAndFriends'' has a direct-to-video entry called "Barney's Halloween Party." It actually covers Halloween traditions well, but emphasis is placed on dressing up and playing pretend rather than anything scary[[note]] except for a footprint ghost craft. Even then, the focus was on how messy the activity was [[/note]]. Once the show switched to a {{three shorts}} format, there was a two-parter, with the first part focusing on Riff struggling to choose a costume, and the second finds BJ helping a boy named Ramon trick-or-treat without his mother for the first time. Riff puts together a one-man band costume, and BJ and Baby Bop point out that he basically dressed as himself, to which Barney says it's fun to be yourself anytime of the year. This was all built around a big event at the park where kids could trick or treat at different stations without being too far away from their families. When Ramon's treats fall out of a hole in his trick-or-treat bag, BJ shares his with Ramon and the other kids share theirs with BJ.

* Halloween episodes tend to be rare in British series as the occasion is less of a big deal in the United Kingdom, but ''Series/MyFamily'' (often cited as an "American-''style''" sitcom) did have one - which, for no apparent reason, was released in March.
