* This has happened to the otherwise [[AllLovingHero pure, sweethearted Belldandy]] in ''Manga/AhMyGoddess''. During the incident where Keiichi let Shiho stay over at his home to go along with her exorcism hobby, she was a little too affectionate in saying "thank you", and, while trying to suppress her feelings, Belldandy's powers went haywire. Once she realized it, broke down, and finally admitted it, [[GoldenMoment Keiichi told her it was part of being in love]]... that it wouldn't always be pretty, and forgave her. Keiichi also apologized for taking her feelings for granted and giving her a reason to worry.

** As for Pudding herself, this envy rears itself whenever she sees her love interest and manager Shuuta Todoroki having sex with another girl out of feeling that such means that Shuuta doesn't love her (which is far from the truth). * The eromanga ''Sex Warrior Pudding'' has two such notable examples: Pudding Nishimura the titular heroine who is usually a {{rose haired sweetie}} and Ai Sudou the minor antagonist who occasionally cross paths with Pudding's group and has a temper.
** Ai Sudou's envy stems from Pudding upstaging her at a Miss Con pageant at their school--namely that Ai Sudou was set to go next until a libidoll attack combined with Pudding's destructive attempts to defeat it ransacked the place, denying Ai Sudou her chance to shine and causing the audience to coo over Pudding in spite of her stripped-bare state due to her cute and clumsy antics. Driven by such petty envy, Ai Sudou makes it her mission to humiliate and/or upstage Pudding when the chance arises, including allying with King Libidoll's army as a minion, but she is not otherwise treated too seriously considering her's antics often failing comically.

* ''Manga/ElfenLied'': Yuka and Lucy. Both are very much a ClingyJealousGirl over Kouta, with Lucy being much more of a {{Yandere}} about it, though Yuka has her moments.
