In a broader sense, the ancient Biyodo aliens are this, as if they hadn't invaded Earth in the past and drove the ancestors of the show, leaving Garade as Descal off of it, their descendants never would have tried to invade the BigBad for most planet millions of years later to retake it.

They eventually do try to come to Earth to recover the Pako, but beyond their envoy Demost they're confronted by the heroes, as the Pako ultimately leaves Earth to lead them away from it.

Of course, while he's more threatening than the GoldfishPoopGang of enemy B-Robots Kabutack and co. compete against every week, he's still quite goofy and not ''too'' threatening.

While it's the central reason ''why'' the Riders are fighting Inves and each other and later on the Overlords, it takes a backseat to the overall conflicts. Case in point, even when Takatora reveals its true nature and ''why'' Yggdrasil is fighting it, Kouta still finds a reason to oppose Yggdrasil more than Helheim. An even bigger case in point? Near the finale, ''all'' the villains are taken care of save for Helheim, whose avatar personally appears and reveals himself to two {{big bad wannabe}}s (who both wind up getting pushed out of the conflict soon after). Once Banno is set free and puts his plans in motion, it isn't long before the Riders and Roidmudes team up to stop him.
