* ''The Force Awakens'' [[ContinuityNod made a point]] of addressing the ''Millennium Falcon'' losing a radar in ''Return of the Jedi'' -- during the attack on the second Death Star -- by giving the ship a new one. Here, that new dish gets lost not because the ship is flying through Crait's chasms under similar circumstances, but because ''a TIE chasing the ship shot it off''. Poor Han must be rolling in his grave.

* The mere idea of a part of Rey being trained is her getting the approval to be on the island of alien puffins who are connected to Luke due to him being a protector to the islands. Even if the rumors are false, one never knows with this franchise.

* The otherwise epic "BB-8, punch it!" scene in the trailer has BB-8 activate an enormous booster on the back of Poe's X-wing, which goes so fast that even in ''space'', BB-8 finds himself tilted 90 degrees backward by the acceleration.
