* Shao Kahn's Hara-Kiri. He throws his hammer up into the air and waits for it to come down. The hammer hits him on his head, causing it to explode. Then the body drops to the floor.
** Most of the Hara-Kiri's are absolutely hilarious. Special note goes to Sindel, who appears to botch a backflip and breaks her own neck when she tries to land; and Dairou, who bends backwards and somehow ''snaps himself in half like folding a piece of paper''.
** Scorpion has a good one in that it defies all expectations; rather than doing something like setting himself on fire or using his spear to rip his head off, he simply just kneels down... and snaps his own neck. And that's it.
* Liu Kang's second fatality, when performed against himself or any of the female characters, can be absolutely hilarious.

* In Konquest, Havik wants your help to do something for him, under the impression that he will teach you the ways of Chaos. Once Shujinko actually does the quest, he returns to Havik, who admits to lying and intends to kill him. When Shujinko wins their fight, Havik proudly proclaims that Shujinko has learned the ways of chaos. Shujinko, obviously ticked, ask how is that possible if he tried to kill him. Havik explains that Chaos is basically that, have him learn through experience to defend himself rather to be told to do so. Shujinko thanked him for the mock battle, however Havik did made sure to tell him that he would have killed him if given the chance.

* In konquest, before an optional fight with Scorpion, a yes/no prompt pops up saying "''"GET OVER HERE!!''" Will you go over there?"

* There is something amazing about how Konquest mode has a dedicated button for punching people. Just walk up to anyone you like and straight up cold-cock them. Some [=NPCs=] go down in one shot, others simple whine and complain about you hitting them for no good reason ("Are you insane?! I am not the enemy, Shao Kahn is!") or threaten you if its someone like Shao Kahn himself. And other times they'll block it, then complain or even hit Shujinko right back and leave him flat on his ass. The funniest goes to Sektor, who is just standing around in Edenia minding his own busines, glitching out due to damaged parts. hit him once and he complains as such:

* One side quest in Konquest Mode involves a teenage boy who hires Shujinko to scare his grandfather. You accomplish this by slowly walking up behind him and ''punching'' the old man.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPifHDWh5XU Raiden's Fatality where he blew himself up alongside with his enemy.]] Pay attention that this is the ruthless Dark Raiden and this isn't even something of TakingYouWithMe, he just made an accident that costs him dearly. To see Dark Raiden blunder like that is... hilarious.
* Triggering a Death Trap in the first round is this, in and of itself. Or don't you think it's funny that you get to send your opponent falling to his death, crushed by machines/rocks/what have you or horribly mauled otherwise, and be up and running again right next round?
