** One random dialogue with the Hell Hunters has one of them bring up how one day they met [[BigEater Hinoa]] in the Tea Shop while she was visiting Elgado where both of them were utterly destroyed by her in a dango-eating contest, leaving both Hell Hunters somewhat humbled and in awe of her afterwards.

* The new Flinch Shot move unloads your Slinger's entire payload into a grappled monster. If you do it to a Monster's face with most ammunition, it will cause the monster to run off in the direction it was facing, and you can even make it smack face-first into a wall... Or better yet, another monster! And it does a surprising amount of damage, too. So it's entirely possible to kill a monster ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry'' style.

* While hanging out in Kamura between quests you can call your Cohoot and send it off to random locations for special interactions. One such interaction allows you to send it towards Master Utsushi who is standing on the roof of the Gathering Hall. The Cohoot promptly begins harassing the poor man by flying and clawing at his head a few times before flying off and perching innocently on the balcony below like nothing happened.

One such interaction allows you to send it towards Master Utsushi who is standing on the roof of the Gathering Hall. The Cohoot promptly begins harassing the poor man by flying swooping and clawing at his head a few times before flying off and perching innocently on the balcony below like nothing happened.

Added DiffLines:

** Utsushi can sometimes visit the player in Elgado and will often be found perched on a beam above the Tea Shop. [[VideoGameCrueltyPotential You can still send your Cohoot after him just as before to ensure that even in Elgado he will never be free of the Cohoot's wrath]].

Added DiffLines:

* Some of the dialogue from Follower characters are full of fun quotes and banter depending on who you bring along:
** If you bring Minoto along, she will sometimes remind your player how much she hates being outdoors.
** Bringing Galleus and Arlow on a quest together will have them banter with each other at the beginning and end with Arlow calling Galleus an 'old-timer' and poking fun at his age and stiffness. Galleus meanwhile shows [[NotSoAboveItAll he's not above sending it back at his friend]].
** Pairing Luchika and Jae together will have Jae at the beginning being startled by Luchika's HotBlooded side showing up. Then at the end of the hunt, Jae gets fired up about the victory only for Luchika to [[HypocriticalHumor tell him to stop yelling and quieten down]].
** If you bring Rondine and Fiorayne together, at the end of a hunt Fiorayne will talk about wanting to do a recap back at base, prompting Rondine to cheekily remark to the player that her little "recaps" can go on for a while.
** During the first Support Survey quest where you can partner up with Rondine and Fiorayne, the sisters will talk about Rondine's stint posing as a merchant in Kamura. Fiorayne will tease Rondine on how transparent her 'undercover' act was, prompting Rondine to ask the player if she was really that bad. You can't reply to her, of course, but the player's inability to respond translates quite well to an awkward silence that tells Rondine exactly how well she did at keeping her cover, leaving her sheepish.

* The Red and Black Hell Hunters return in Elgado's hub doing what they do best - sitting around doing nothing in the canteen while mocking the player's achievements and bragging about how they're both too good for it. Only this time it's mentioned that another reason they're always found in the canteen is because they've both developed an [[InstantTasteAddiction out-of-control addiction to the dango]] at the new Tea Shop that's stopping them from leaving for hunts.

* The Flooded Forest's resident Transport Item is a massive flower known as a Laffresia (or a Rafflesia in real life), or an Alaffresia in High Rank or Giant Laffresia in Master Rank. Like other Transport Items, it can be knocked out of your hands and lost...upon which it will ''shatter'' as if it was made of porcelein!

* Thanks to the various poses and gestures provided by the chat system in Rise, you can treat yourself to the glorious sight of [[VideoGame/StreetFighter Akuma]] doing things like striking the StayingAliveDancePose, sitting on a bench and happily clapping his hands, busting out into a sudden dance, or petting a Cohoot. It's TheComicallySerious at its finest.

** With the Layered Weapons mechanic in ''World: Iceborne'', ''Rise'' (for Rampage Weapons only), and ''Rise: Sunbreak'' (for all other weapons too), you can now have what looks like the silliest and least practical weapon to use in a serious hunt...that's actually a powerful endgame weapon on the inside.

Added DiffLines:

* You can fish for Glutton Tunas and Gastronoma Tunas, large tunas that managed to ingest items that can be used by Hunters. In the pre-''World'' games, they show up as items in your inventory, and using either of these fish causes the Hunter to chow down on it like it's a steak, only to go into their choking animation as they presumably spit out whatever item was inside the tuna's stomach.
