* The ''very'' first words uttered on the feeds when they went up? Someone saying, "[[CanadaEh Where's the Maple Syrup?]]"

* In Week 5, Canada was the Head of Household. The head of household room played the CanadaEh trope up to eleven, putting poutine, ketchup chips, and maple syrup as head of household treats in the room with a Canadian Flag in it.

* Week 5's Head of Household competition introduces more Alternate Universe couples. Turner & Jasmine, Brett & Rockstar, and Jessie Godderz with...[[ScrewYourself Jessie Godderz]].

* Chima's monumental meltdown and subsequent expulsion after spending nearly the entire game flouting its rules, which is obviously not meant to be funny, but so over the top and [[KickTheSonOfABitch cathartic]] it doubles back into funny. She even had the nerve to '''wreck her body mic''' (by drowning it, no less!)- and this is something the producers specifically warned the houseguests not to do at their own expense.

** The competition is a test to see who can hold a red light for the longest time in the most literal sense by balancing a red disk in a large traffic signal, but every time someone loses, someone who is angry traffic is getting held up in the city will emerge to punish somebody, and the loser gets to decide who suffers. ''Everyone'' [[KickTheSonOfABitch piles these punishments on]] [[TokenEvilTeammate Cody]] and a few go for his girlfriend [[AlphaBitch Jessica.]] They suffer the garbage man's garbage, an angry overweight yoga instructor screaming, a hot dog vendor's ketchup and mustard, a graffiti artist spray-painting their backs, and the road crew's concrete and tar (don't worry, they don't use real concrete or tar, just stage imitations of both substances- gray slop and black goo). It's almost like the producers planned it that way, ''knew'' the houseguests would exploit the crap out of the punishment system, and rigged the competition to include that at the last minute for ratings' sake!

** "A toxic toilet has turned the Motormouth into [[TakeThat Pottymouth!]]" (Paul's Season 18 superhero turned villainous) Not only does Paul object to the idea of the show thinking he swore more than the others, he's now [[KickTheSonOfABitch fully aware]] they're portraying him as the villain this season and pissed about it.

* There's something particularly humorous about Cirie being upset at Jag&Matt evicting her - since ''she'' wanted to go ''right'' for Jag.
* At the finale, when the other houseguests are told about Cirie and Jared's relationship as mother and son. Before that, they are told Matt is asked by Julie who the two related houseguests are and takes a wild guess by answering [[MistakenForIncest Cory and America]].

* A cardboard cutout of Josh Duhamel falls ''right'' on Mecole's head. Mecole's instantly starts laughing.

* Cameron and Izzy, Felicia & Cirie, and Matt all have punishments. They all own up to them and laugh at them - but considering how awkward everything is, it's just so ''awkward'' you can't help but laugh.
* A cardboard cutout falls ''right'' on Mecole. She instantly starts laughing.

* When Cameron wins the Week 5 Power of Veto, he celebrates while the other Houseguests watching (who all wanted him out that week) are left despondent and silent, complete with LettingTheAirOutOfTheBand

* Week 5's HoH competition introduces more Alternate Universe couples. Turner & Jasmine, Brett & Rockstar, and Jessie Godderz with...[[ScrewYourself Jessie Godderz]].

* Despite winning [=HOH=, Felicia was given a punishment were she had to stand under a giant nose and get doused with slime/snot. When she has to do it during the nominations, the scene after shows her doused in slimed and giving an unamused DeathGlare.
