* If one considers this game to be the prequel to ''WesternAnimation/TransformersTheMovie'', Megatron's line, "Such Heroic nonsense" takes into a new light. Megatron sees [[TheHero Optimus Prime]] destroys the device that contains all of Cybertron's entire culture, all because the latter wants to save humanity. Years later, Megatron sees the Autobots rebuild a new civilization in the form of Autobot City. Megatron not only wants to destroy the Autobots because they are his enemy but also for what he perceives as an affront to "real" Cybertronian culture.

FridgeLogic:
* Just to whom do the Autobots sell their weapons to? (Or, for that matter, buy them from?)
** [[SarcasmMode Wheeljack buys the T.E.C.H you've sold and sells it back to you for 50 times the price.]]
** Maybe the sell button means that the weapons are a) put aside for further R&D b) Dismantled for their materials or c) given to other Autobots/as reserve
* Why would Megatron escape on Long Haul? Not only can he fly, but defeating Long Haul reveals that Megatron moves at least as fast, if not faster than him in tank mode.
** Perhaps its an exertion to move in vehicle mode. We see when Grimlock sprints that there's hint of firebreath and his jaw moves like he's panting. Plus why run yourself when you can ride in style on your lackey's back?
** it may also be a matter of aim; Trying to watch where he's going while also shooting would likely be a bit much for even Megatron. So, he stands in Long Haul's truck bed and lets him handle the directions until the big guy's taken out.
* Why do the stats affect the things they do? For example, Fireblast (traditionally the stat that indicates the power of a character's guns) improves melee damage and defense instead of ranged damage, Strength improves health instead of melee damage, and Intelligence affects ranged attack damage instead of, say, experience gains or some other purely mental feat. All the stats feel wrong, other than arguably Rank, if only in a "well, I don't know what else it could be" way.

* Why Starscream objects to the use of Plasma Energy and even references the golden age pointing out how unstable it is? Assuming the game follows the same continuity as the original G1 show, Starscream [[SmarterThanYouLook before the war was a scientist just as Shockwave or Wheeljack and even his old partner Skyfire/Jetfire.]] He probably knows the dangers involved with plasma energy and is understandably wary much like the episode "Dinobot Island".

Island" when Megatron tampered with said island trying to get a boost of energy despite the Seeker's constant critizism and pleads to stop messing with the place as it grows more and more unstable. Is easy to imagine Starscream has to once again to complain about [[AesopAmnesia Megatron once again messing with unstable dangerous resources that could easily backfire on the Decepticons.]]

* With all the [[ImpossiblyGracefulGiant athletics and flat-out impossible agility]] Transformers have shown throughout the series, it actually makes a bit of sense that they could utilize {{Bayonetta}}-like fighting styles.

* Megatron doesn't transform into a pistol, instead transforming into some form of generic tank. This seems to be just an change for the game mechanics, until you notice that almost all his alternate modes since TransformersGeneration1 has been a tank, and otherwise, all his boss encounters would require someone to hold him when he's not in his robot mode!

*** Given the influence of the ''Combiner Wars'' toys on the game is why Megatron is a tank here, it's likely that's also why Shockwave is still a gun, as [[http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Shockwave_(G1)/toys#Combiner_Wars his toy in the line was a cannon]].

** The "needs to be held" argument becomes kinda moot as Shockwave turns into a gun, yet can hover/fly.

* Grimlock incorporates the most wrestling moves in his fighting style. Wrestling is a sport in where you use your weight and power to beat your opponent. Sounds like a perfect fighting style for someone like [[TheBigGuy Grimlock]].
