** The place doesn't look like BedlamHouse and the patients seem relatively "normal" and [[http://oi67.tinypic.com/2jsle1.jpg enjoy relaxing in the lounge to watch TV]]....Then this one woman (Francine) has a freakout and there's this weird babbling old woman called "Nana"....and "Hang out and watch TV" is the only thing the patients can do to pass the time because there's literally nothing else to do! There's also other wards that are even ''worse'', like one where it's just [[http://oi63.tinypic.com/dyuq7r.jpg an empty room where patients wander aimlessly]].

* The Administrators wanting to shut down the Station ''even if there was funding and a new mixing desk'' may NOT be JUST ForTheEvulz but may be due to the fact that there was actually a RealLife sweeping program of gradually shutting down all the Mental Asylums in the UnitedKingdom during TheEighties and TheNineties. This involved slowly cutting all funding for upkeep, maintenance, therapies, etc. in an effort to make these places unlivable and thus worthy of being shut down. The fictional St. Jude's was doomed from the start. The patients likely will end up either put in other programs, go home or end up homeless.

The dumb kid just wants to get drunk with friends, got to the beach, bum around in York and get laid!....Hey! That old codger is ashamed of his kid's existence and mental issues and is threatening to have him permanently committed (possibly for LIFE!) and he wants to crush the poor young man's hopes, dreams and chances at improvement (the kid does want a future, he just didn't have direction yet and dad's simply making him grow-up too fast)! The old troll is just a jerk who wants to "keep up appearances" and hide away "The loony of the family" and is peeved that the son has the ''audacity'' to ''not'' be a carbon-copy of dad!
