This is scarily {{ironic}} when you consider that Kiibo did eventually end up getting killed by Angie, and Angie ''did'' attempt to conceal Kiibo's body, albeit not very well.

* Kaede wearing Shuichi's hat shows an interesting contrast against Shuichi without his hat.
** Shuichi, without his hat, makes him appear and act more openly towards everyone in the original game.
** Conversely in Encore, Kaede wearing with Shuichi's hat finds herself hiding behind her face behind the hat while she starts to act more distant and enclosed, likely due to her guilt of killing Rantaro with the shot-put ball. This changes soon on into the fic though, as in chapter 4 Miu suggests that Kaede 'change things up a little', and Kaede starts to wear the hat with the beak facing out to the left side, rather than shielding her face. In chapter 15, Ryoma compliments the change.
--> "Keeping things close to the chest is important, but so is letting your guard down a little. Stops you from gettin’ too caught up in your own paranoia.”
* There seems to be an {{ironic}} pattern forming for each victim-murderer pairing in this fanfiction.
** The first victim [[spoiler:Rantaro]] and the 'killer' [[spoiler:Shuichi]] were both looking for the truth about the Killing Game and the Mastermind. Both of them were hiding important pieces of truth that they already knew.
** The second victim was [[spoiler:Gonta, a GentleGiant who was strong yet the most gentlemanly male in the cast]]. The killer was [[spoiler:Tenko, an ActionGirl who believes all males are degenerates]]. Both the victim and killer were [[spoiler:strong people]], and the killer, [[spoiler:someone who thinks badly of guys, accidentally killed the nicest guy of the cast during her attempt to kill the worst guy of the group]].
** The third victim was [[spoiler: Kirumi, the TeamMom who, we assume, was trying to kill Miu after regaining her memories via contracting the Despair Disease from Monokuma]] only to be killed by [[spoiler:the mastermind before she could carry out her murder]].
** The fourth victim, [[spoiler:Kiibo]], was [[InnocentBystander caught in the crossfire]], and ultimately murdered by [[spoiler: Angie, who thought he was connected to the killing game due to the cameras she and Miu had found in his eyes.]] Ultimately, this would be proven [[spoiler:correct, due to Kiibo's affiliation with Team Danganronpa]].

* The {{Foreshadowing}} for Chapter 2's killer:
** With the knowledge we have from the original game, it's easy from the context clues to figure out that [[spoiler:Tenko]] realized that [[spoiler: Korekiyo is a serial murderer who had killed countless girls]]. The only thing stopping you from suspecting the culprit this early on is that the fact that the victim was [[spoiler: Gonta]] not [[spoiler:Kiyo,]] so people might not realize the connection between [[spoiler:Gonta's]] murder and [[spoiler:Tenko]] having a motive to murder [[spoiler:Korekiyo]] until they found out that [[spoiler:Gonta's murder was a complete accident when Tenko was trying to kill Korekiyo]].
** This tiny detail that is so easy to overlook turned out to be vital once you found out that the murder weapons were the [[spoiler:chemicals in Miu's lab]] seen in chapter 5. When [[spoiler:Himiko]] initially took [[spoiler:Miu's chemicals]], mistaking them for [[spoiler:magic potions]], [[spoiler:Tenko]] snatched them away. But that's where it ends. It's never mentioned what [[spoiler:Tenko]] did with them after that.
** As brought up by [[spoiler:Himiko]], [[spoiler:Tenko]] stopped her from [[spoiler:drinking the green tea because the latter claimed that it's dangerous to [[spoiler:drink tea made by a degenerate like Korekiyo]], or that [[spoiler:Angie might have added some sort of 'brainwashing curse' in it]]. When you consider how [[spoiler:Tenko's hatred is normally targeted towards males]], it seemed off that one of their reasons for finding the tea dangerous is because of [[spoiler:Angie, a girl]]. It all makes sense once you realize that [[spoiler:Tenko]] was rattling out excuses to ensure that [[spoiler:Himiko doesn't drink the tea that Tenko herself spiked]].
*** This is further highlighted when you consider how [[spoiler:Tenko]] gave [[spoiler:the tea]] a DeathGlare. It makes a lot of sense once you find out that [[spoiler:Himiko]], the person most important to [[spoiler:Tenko]], almost [[spoiler:drank the tea that Tenko poisoned]]. It just goes to show how the culprit gave a sign on how much they knew about the situation.
