''The Last Farm'' is a 2004 short film (17 minutes) from Iceland, directed by Rúnar Rúnarsson.
An old man, Hrafn, lives with his wife Groa in a farmhouse on the rocky coast. He is cutting planks of wood, apparently to weatherproof his house against the coming winter. Chatter while talking with his daughter, and later with the mailman, reveals that soon Hrafn and Groa are supposed to be leaving their remote farmhouse for an old folks' home in the city. It turns out that Hrafn has no intention of going.
