* DullSurprise: Kenny Farino as Masquerade.
* EvilBrit: Sir Knight Lordington
* HeterosexualLifePartners: Rusty and Masquerade.
* HomoeroticSubtext: Between Rusty and Masquerade. Lampshaded by a pair of minions halfway through.
* LargeHam: Pretty much all of the major player ''except'' for Masquerade.

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Every other scene.
** About halfway through the movie, Rusty and Masquerade stop in mid-conversation and we cut to footage of Phill sitting at a computer with writer's block. We then see Rusty and Masquerade attack the side of a building for a while until a glass shatter transition takes us to another scene.
** Rusty's story about how he killed a bartender who cut him off.
** The brief interlude in which a teacher instructs the audience at home about tax laws in New Jersey.
* Crazy Awesome: If you like the film, this is probably why.

** FakeBrit

* SpecialEffectsFailure: It's a silly comedy made by a bunch of high schoolers at summer camp, so this is quite forgivable. That said, the scenes with Schleckdude are really glaring and unnecessary.

* LoveItOrHateIt - If you get the movie's sense of humor, then you can probably overlook the low production values and actually ''enjoy'' the ridiculous plot. If you don't get it, though... well... yeah...

So... yeah.

This film contains examples of:

* AsHimself: Phill Skokos appears as himself in two scenes, in which he is depicted writing the script. Cam Stewart, who plays Lordington, appears the second time, looks at the BigLippedAlligatorMoment Phill just wrote, and says "Plot, Phill. Get back to the plot."
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Every other scene.
* DeusExMachina: One second Masquerade is just sitting there in jail, asking Rusty how they're going to escape. The next minute they're walking out of a tunnel and it takes them a few seconds to realize they have no idea how they got out.
** Turns out it was {{God}}.
-->'''God''': [[BlatantLies "Nobody ever gives me any credit for anything."]]
* DullSurprise: Kenny Farino as Masquerade.
* EvilBrit: Sir Knight Lordington
** FakeBrit
* HeterosexualLifePartners: Rusty and Masquerade.
** HoYay: Rusty and Masquerade. Lampshaded by a pair of minions halfway through.
* LargeHam: Pretty much all of the major player ''except'' for Masquerade.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfRoles: Gabriel Schliefer plays a guy waiting in line for a vending machine, villager, two henchman, and Music/WeirdAlYankovic
* LoveItOrHateIt - If you get the movie's sense of humor, then you can probably overlook the low production values and actually ''enjoy'' the ridiculous plot. If you don't get it, though... well... yeah...
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Averted. That guy who looks kinda like Music/WeirdAlYankovic is ''supposed'' to be playing Music/WeirdAlYankovic.
* NoFourthWall
* OldShame: Not-[[Music/WeirdAlYankovic Weird Al]]'s line "You ever done crack?" was thrown in as a joke by one of the film makers, with the actor unaware that it would wind up in the final film. He was not happy when he found out.
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Every now and then in sounds like Phill Skokos (as Rusty) is trying some kind of accent, but damned if you'll ever figure out what it is.
** Leningarb is also unable to maintain his already-poor Russian accent some of the time.
* SecretHandshake: Masquerade and Leningarb have one that seems to be the same move repeated for over and hour.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: Sir Knight Lordington
* ShoutOut: Oh so many, to oh so many different sources...
** The scene in which Sir Knight Lordington struggles with the "infernal" fax machine, Leningarb is shown [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion sitting in a chair, randomly wearing sunglasses, with his hands crossed in front of his face.]]
** When they reach "the mighty palace of Leningarb":
-->'''Rusty''': [[Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail "No, it's only a model."]]
** Leningarb tells Masquerade about his plan to use the Butterfly Effect to TakeOverTheWorld, to which Masquerade replies, "I'm pretty sure that was just in ''Film/JurassicPark''."
** The villager played by Gabriel Schleifer sounds an awful lot like [[WesternAnimation/RockyAndBullwinkle Bullwinkle]].
* SpecialEffectsFailure: It's a silly comedy made by a bunch of high schoolers at summer camp, so this is quite forgivable. That said, the scenes with Schleckdude are really glaring and unnecessary.
* StockFootage: The montage early on depicting Leningarb's rise to power.
* TakeOverTheWorld: Leningarb's stated goal is actually one step beyond this: conquer all reality!
-->'''Masquerade''': "You know, I sniffed a lot of glue once, and I tried to conquer all reality. [[NoodleIncident Tore up my grandma's kitchen...]]"
* ThemeSongPowerUp: A number of times.
* TrainingMontage: After the first one, Rusty says "Wow, we still suck at fighting", whereupon Masquerade says "Let's do another montage!" and the film cuts to the exact same montage again.
* YouFailLogicForever: Leningarb's plan. [[RuleOfFunny It still works though.]]
