!!This short has examples of these tropes

* BaitAndSwitch: At first, it seems like Shemp is sitting down and working on a pair of pants across his legs. He then walks away to use the radio, revealing that the legs seen were a mannequin's.
* FaceFault: Live action version; A man leaves the shop with the back of his coat torn to shreds by an unthinking Shemp using a brush with a razor stuck in. He they comes back saying that his wife loves the coat, and wants him to get a pair of matching pants. Cue the Stooges toppling over from shock.
* ShoutOut: The short's title is a pun on the classic English nursery rhyme, "Sing a Song of Sixpence".
* ThrowTheDogABone: The Stooges miss out on the reward for Hargan's capture, but they find a bunch of money in Hargan's pocket which they keep when the cop takes Hargan away.
