''Secret Admirer'' in a 1985 romantic comedy co-written and directed by David Greenwalt (yes, [[Series/{{Angel}} that one]]) starring Creator/CThomasHowell as a high school student called Michael who fancies DumbBlonde classmate Deborah Ann (Creator/KellyPreston) and Michael finds a love note in his locker that his best friend Roger convinces him is from Deborah Ann. It isn't, it's from ''another'' classmate, BrainyBrunette Toni (Creator/LoriLoughlin). Michael writes Deborah Ann a love note of his own and asks Toni to put it in Deborah Ann's locker - she takes a look at the note and rewrites to make it more heartfelt and less greeting-cardsy.
