Added DiffLines:

* ContinuitySnarl: While the film does provide some additional lore to the ''OOO'' story, there's really nowhere it can possibly fit story-wise in relation to the main series. All of the four main Greeed are shown as alive at the same time (something which is never the case in the main series after Episode 16) yet Ankh Lost is nowhere to be seen, Eiji has a full set of Core Medals (for most of the main series he only has them for Tajador and Putotyra forms), and he is unable to control Putotyra (in the main series, this happens the same episode where Mezool and Gamel are revived).

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Gara has no comprehension of ''positive'' desire, and is perplexed by Kougami's assertion desire is a creative force, not a destructive one. [[spoiler:This ultimately ruins Gara's plan, as Eiji's overflowing selfless desire to save the people around him overloads his machine when Gara was expecting him to be a self centered monster like the original OOO and himself.]]

* OmnicidalManiac: Gara wants to destroy the world so he can remake it InTheirOwnImage. Mezool compares him and Maki, but Maki quickly shoots down the assumption, as while he also wants to destroy the world, Gara wants to make a new one InTheirOwnImage afterwards while Maki wants the end to be the end.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Gara and his fellow Alchemists were subjected to this by the First OOO after completing the Greeed, turning them to Cell Medals. In Gara's case, he eventually revived.

Has nothing to do with familiarity with in-universe fiction.

* GenreSavvy: the [=GataKiriBa=] clones ''are'' taking too long to transform into the various combos (did they really have to do it one at a time?), so Gara tried attacking them, but the Core Medals used in the TransformationSequence formed a barrier of sorts.
