Added DiffLines:

* PimpingTheOffspring: Milich the costume shop owner is enraged when he finds his teenage daughter cavorting with two older men; by the end of the film he seems to have come around to the financial benefits and is pimping her out, even offering her services to Bill. For her part, the girl appears to be enjoying it.

* SirSwearsALot: Amazingly, not actually sir, but lady - Alice probably uses the F-word more often than the rest of the cast combined. Her husband is more into PrecisionFStrike.

* GreenEyedMonster: It's implied that Nick spills the bean on the orgy because he's jealous of Bill's life (they went to medical school together, but only Bill became a doctor) and wants to one-up him in something. It ends up (possibly) getting a woman killed when Bill crashes the party and she has to die in his place.

* ActorAllusion: The VHS copy of Film/RainMan, another Creator/TomCruise movie, seen in Alice and Bill's bedroom on their entertainment stand during their big argument.
** A second one that many people notice is with actor Todd Field, who plays Nick Nightingale. Bill tells Alice that Nick dropped out of medical school. Todd Field was in 1989 film Gross Anatomy and played David Schreiner, a medical student, and in that film, his character drops out of the medical program.

I have genuinely no idea how "the women know what men want from them" counts as Fan Disservice. Also, Domino just quite frankly doesn't get naked enough to count for much in a movie with this much nudity.

* AllJustADream / SchrodingersButterfly: Very subtle hints in the movie provide clues that this is so. After all, the movie is called Eyes Wide Shut, and the novella is titled "Traumnovelle" ("Dream Novella").

* AllJustADream / SchrodingersButterfly: Very subtle hints in the movie provide clues that this is so. For example, both answers in the specific and satisfaction in the abstract seem to elude Bill as the story goes on, with all his prospective sexual encounters fizzling out and nearly everyone who can provide answers disappearing offscreen. Many scenes also end abruptly much as in dreams, and logic seems absent in many regards. After all, the movie is called Eyes Wide Shut, and the novella is titled "Traumnovelle" ("Dream Novella").

* FanDisservice: The orgy scene is not exactly sexy. The extremely dramatic ritual and atmosphere around it give the whole scene a very uncomfortable feeling.
* FilleFatale: Milich's young teenage daughter tries to seduce Bill, even after she gets attacked by her father for sleeping with (or doing something sexual with) two other men. Ends up getting reconstructed when we see them again, and Milich is now pimping her out.

* GainaxEnding:

to:

* GainaxEnding:GainaxEnding: The conversation in the toy store that ends the film at first seems to be leading into a split in the relationship, but then Bill and Alice start talking about the nature of dreams and reality in a way that suddenly throws much more ambiguity on Bill's adventure, made no clearer by Bill's reply that "no dream is ever just a dream". Alice concludes that they're awake and will hopefully stay like that, though the question of fidelity remains up in the air as using the word 'forever' to describe their relationship scares her. And then, to close it out...
-->Alice: "But, I do love you. And you know, there is something very important that we need to do as soon as possible."
-->Bill: "What's that?"

* MindScrew: The movie has both dream-like visuals and consequently operates in dream logic. See AllJustADream above.

** At a first glance, the orgy is full of fanservice extras.
** Milich's daughter.
** Domino, who is very kind to Bill, is very beautiful for a drug-addicted, dying prostitute.
** At least the last three, however, border on deconstruction, as they seem aware of what men want from them, and their scenes may be FanDisservice as a result.
