Over his 15-year sentence he matures and grows into the Astronaut, and is sent back through time to help his younger self avoid making the same mistake.
* Comments: The time spent in the game universe could have been beefed out more, but it's a good read with some interesting pieces of worldbuilding and characterization of Walter as both a bratty child and repentant adult.
