However, the execution is original, the plot is well-thought out and entertaining, and not a character is wasted or particularly [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness off the mark]] (unless a hidden [[{{Tsundere}} Dere-dere]] side of [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Chase Young]] counts). The direct romance doesn't actually take over the story until the end, either, and the author handles both developing Chase/Jack and subtle Rai/Kim quite well.
