* Synopsis: Unlike regular Lets Plays with videos and such, this is more in line with a fanfic, supported by screenshots and drawn faces, as the person playing Planetbase is actually a character inside the story. The readers—and Piedro, the eponymous penguin—start with the first construction of the base, and follow Piedro’s struggle in keeping his colonists alive. Later on Piedro has to deal with typhoons at his home (not in the game), loss of save games, and so on. All the while the narrative also explores the in-game perspective of some of the colonists as they also struggle and die. Ghost stories of former colonies start up and what’s with these… are these mass graves? What’s going on here?
