* Synopsis: A witch strikes a deal with a demon for protection, but as with all deals with demons, there's usually a good deal of trouble involved.
* Comment: A Fantasy AU heavily based on Junkenstein's Revenge that focus on Mercy and Genji. Has strong world building, character interaction as well as surprisingly deep and philosophical writing peppering in a plot that will keep you at the edge of your seat.

* Synopsis: "She should be sleeping— she knows, she knows, she knows. The orange and empty pill bottle by her bedside screams this at her, and so does the quarter-full bottle of wine tucked into the lowest drawer of her desk, and so do her hands, which shake and shiver and strain, once tools, now symptoms of a sickness."

* Comment: Poetic and comforting this character study explores the darker side of being Overwatch's Head Medic and some how so much more. (Don't worry it ends well.) Concerning Constellations has written several other beautiful works in the same vein that I could just as easily recommend here. I highly recommend checking them out if you like Mercy character studies or hopeful angst.

[When the closest bonds break]
They can try to change it, modify it, make it easier for a normal soldier, but it won’t work. He knows. The heavy pulse rifle had been made for him. Behind the visor Jack smiles. Add this to the list of “things that will help him destroy the world.” And god, he’s gonna feel great while doing it.
[All you can do]
Gabriel’s wearing a stylized skull mask, the eyes dark, the cheeks hollow - shells and carrier containers strapped across his chest and hips. He’s still twirling the shotguns in his hands, when - (He stops, because there’s a figure in the south tunnel - their face masked in reds, hefting a heavy pulse rifle, left hand raised to their visor -)
He stops. And Jack stops. And even though neither of them can actually see the other’s face they make eye contact.

Reaper is not going to repay Talon with fire, nor flood, nor hell, nor highwater.
He is going to destroy them, ruin them slow and sweet and blissfully miserably, blast each limb off with a plasma-slag frag shot, pick at their ribs with his claws, hold their still-beating hearts in his hands -
[Well, you sure take to this bad guy thing easily, don't you?]
“You are here to fight Vishkar,” Lúcio states without missing a beat, without wavering, his dark eyes staring into 76 like he can see the soul struggling beneath his chest. The musician-revolutionary says intensely, “You are a soldier. You are here to help wage war.”
“...I am here to help,” 76 says, but he also admits, “But I didn’t have a real plan -”
“That is fine,” Lúcio replies, his scowl cracking into a knowing smirk, “Because I do.”
[And you sure know how to play boy scout.]
Widowmaker calls to him, “Vous êtes un roi parmi les voleurs.”
“...I don’t know what you said,” Reaper states, but Widowmaker just waves him off as she leaves, saying: “No one knows what they are worth until they lose everything."

It's inspired a plethora of appreciative fanworks on Tumblr and beyond.
