Basically, this is a story about the changes created by a certain Uchiha Obito coming back to help Naruto along- as a ghost. Although the chapters before the Chuunin Exams may be somewhat similar to canon, I highly suggest you stick through to at least the end of the Chuunin Exams before making a decision or not. Desciptions may be sometimes scarse, but it is still a good story. Very funny, too- this author likes to sometimes include funny extras at the end. But even without those, this is a humor fanfiction.

* ''Synopsis'': One of the most unusual, angsty works I have ever read. Basically, Kakashi goes away on a five week mission, and Team 7 looks after three of his dogs. Guruko happens to be the dog Naruto looks after. As the two form a friendship, Guruko learns that there is another side to Naruto. Saying anything else will ruin it!

** Catt: I avoided this story for quite some time, dismissing it as another OC horrorfest. I'm glad I finally decided to give it a go. This story is incredibly interesting, avoiding most of the over used cliché’s and hang-ups that plague Naruto fanfics. Most. Civilian's treat Naruto worse than Canon, though thankfully not to [[WallBanger Mob]] levels, Naruto turns to Angst whenever the Kyuubi is mentioned and alot of Naruto's problems are due to the academy instructors sabotaging him. However, God Mode Naruto is majorly averted, Aiko is most definitely not a MarySue, there is an interesting take on Sasuke and Sakura's character, and an even more interesting portrayal of Naruto and Kyuubi. I was especially pleased with [[spoiler: Kyuubi trying to turn on the charm in order to persuade Naruto, using the term Kit, considering that it was rather obviously a ploy.]] Though you should be warned, while still relatively Idealistic, it is further down on the Cynical side than Canon. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

*** @/USABobcat I have loved this fic for a long time, and am glad to see it up here. Highlights are Kyuubi's rampant pervertedness and [[spoiler: Itachi and Kisame]] finding Naruto by playing a street concert, figuring that he will find them sooner or later. Also: Kisame's love for [[spoiler: Jaws, even rooting for the shark.]] Really, it came out of nowhere, but I loved it.

** Josher: Even though it's well written there are some jarring points: Through [[TookALevelInBadass extensive training Naruto is somewhat superpowered]], Sasuke has JerkAss levels up to Chunin Exam Day, and DeusAngstMachina is employed liberally against Naruto. Added edit: The writer follows TheStationsOfTheCanon to the point of even including most of the conversations word for word from the first couple chapters of the manga, Kakashi also experiences a minor version of the DeusAngstMachina and is sympathetic, and extremely jarring is when [[spoiler: the Hokage allows [[WallBanger Kakashi to guilt trip Naruto into forming Team 7,]] [[PlotInducedStupidity despite all the blatant evidence showing in the story that]] [[AxCrazy Sasuke is a sociopath]], [[TheChick Sakura is]] [[TheLoad unprepared to be a ninja]], and [[BadAss Naruto is leagues ahead of both of them]], and that the team is completely incompatible. The Hokage can't do anything else because of the Council.]]
