* ''Comments'': Whats really great about this story is that it isnt just the entire movie retold in a different setting, the author actually took the time to think about a realistic (as far as a story of a zombie can be) setting as well as touches up some issues with the characters. For example, rather than marriage Victor accidentally asks Emily to prom, when Victor tells her it was an accident and about Victoria (though she doesnt believe the later) right away-a big step from his movie counterpart-she is upset but decides she cant be selfish-a major step for her character. What is also great is that when Victor finds out Victoria is going to prom with someone else, the setting changes Victors thinking as "well, my real love is gone, I might as well stay with the dead girl" to "Aw man, I lost my chance, but Emily is still a nice girl, I kinda wanted to take her to prom before to be nice but I was thinking of asking Victoria, atleast I can still make her happy". Another great thing is that we have both Emily and Victor happily accepting each other as just friends from the beginning, Emily even tells Victor that all she wants is to go to prom, and as a joke from the movie says "its not like were getting married."
