* WhatWouldXDO?: Some of Kirito's actions and decisions come from asking himself what Saitama would do. However, it's also emphasized how he ISN'T Saitama and does some things his own way.

* CallingYourAttacks: First shown by Asuna, then Sachi, it's quickly shown that all the owners of the Unique Skills seem to like doing this. ** Infinite Spear gives drastic bonuses to the speed and range to piercing spear-type attacks with short recovery time for it's skills, but also has MASSIVE recoil that can injure the user and/or knock them off balance if they don't have properly balanced and heavy armor equipped and is best suited against large slow targets, leaving the user vulnerable against quick, small, human targets like [[SerialKiller Laughing Coffin]]..

** Infinite Spear gives drastic bonuses to the speed and range to piercing spear-type attacks, but also has MASSIVE recoil that can injure the user or knock them off balance if they don't have properly balanced and heavy armor equipped.

** The Black Cats of the Full Moon not only survive the trap that kills them in canon, but they all get strong enough to fight on the front-lines and survive to the end of the game.

** Argo, Lizbeth, and Silica were decent players, but didn't actively participate against bosses in canon. Here all three gain unique skills which make them VERY dangerous and become permanant members of Kirito's front-line guild through the end of the game.

Cue Kayaba freaking out and TakingALevelInJerkass, Asuna declaring Kirito her "sensei", the death game causing about half as many casualties, and Kirito [[VictoryIsBoring wishing for a challenge, already]]!
