* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Calvin seems to have had his personality pulled from ''Fanfic/TheCalvinverse'', being a focused GadgeteerGenius {{Badass}} rather than the normal, hyperactive little boy he was in the comic strip.
** AdaptationalHeroism: Zim is now TheAtoner, having reformed two years before the start of the fic. He is Sora's replacement, after all. He's still as [[LargeHam hammy]] as ever, though.
** AdaptationalVillainy: Dib is the replacement of Riku, and thus follows the same path as him.
* BloodierAndGorier: The fight scenes (especially in Traverse Town) are much more violent than anything shown by half of the series featured in the fic.

* NoodleIncident: The TropeNamer itself returns. What else would you expect from a story with Calvin and Hobbes in it? Besides that, there are several original ones mentioned throughout the story.
