When Inko dies in train wreck while protecting Izuku from the impact, he discovers that he's had a Quirk all along. "Inheritance", the ability to take someone else's Quirk when they die, may seem like a strange and problematic power, but it won't lessen his desire to be a hero any. Armed with multiple Quirks and his loved ones support, Izuku is ready to tackle the road to heroism, in a path that might be more roundabout than most, but will hopefully still get him where he needs to go.

Not to mention, Bakugo receiving actual consequences for his behavior triggers a HeelRealization earlier, and they resolve their issues and grow to have a more amicable relationship must faster than in canon.
