Grace has grown up in Wammy's House, always in the shadow of L. When L returns back home after his latest case, he makes it his mission to get to know her better, despite it being the last thing she wants. Set before the Kira case.

Grace is a 22-23 year old and one of the oldest students in Wammy's House among recognizable characters such as Mello, Near, and Matt, a long with many {{OC}}'s ranging from her similarly aged best friend and exceptionally talented artist Anne to the scary telepathic new kid named Jude.

As one of the oldest students in the orphanage it is her, mostly self appointed, job to maintain some semblance of order in the home for the gifted orphans.

However Grace isn't content to be a stay at home 'mom' for the many orphans in the school and wants to travel the world. Causing much friction with the famous detective, and fellow member of Wammy's first group of children, L.

That is until L decides he wants to get to know her better.

It's up to Grace to figure out why, and even more importantly why she wants to as well.

At first they decide to be at least friends, as they hated each other previously, with they were in the process of that L was [[spoiler: hiding his six year long unrequited love for her]] and eventually Grace [[spoiler: hides her love for him being unable to come to terms with the rapid change in her feelings.]]
