But when the gate opened up, they believed they could send armies to conquer a world of tribes for riches and glory as they had before. Only to face on the other side, the wrath of the spacefaring Terran Dominion and quickly punish the haughty primitive army for believing they could raid their capital city and get away with it. Needless to say after several months of decimating their armies, vassal states, [[spoiler: and nuking an entire city]], The Empire’s arrogant mindset shatters completely, and barring Zorzal and his pro-war faction, The vast majority of the Empire surrenders to the galactic superpower.

* MedievalMorons: The Empire were basically a fantasy version of the Roman Empire, who have barely even understood the basics of metallurgy, much less science and physics. Thus when The Empire and denizens of Falmart first witnessed the Dominion’s and eventually Protoss’s extremely advanced technology, they always misinterpret it as magic and deem those who use it as powerful mages, due to their primitive and ignorant nature. When seeing their starships, military vehicles, mechs and aircrafts the natives think they’re all metallic beasts, while after witnessing their weapons of mass destruction firsthand, think it’s the wrath of their own gods.

** [[spoiler:However once Falmart becomes apart of the Dominion they are promptly uplifted into a highly advanced world like the other Terran colonies. With the next generation likely to only know of their world’s medieval ways through history books as they live in modern times.]]

* StupidEvil: Zorzal perfectly personifies this as the man continually refused to admit defeat like his father did and pointlessly waged an idiotic war against the Terrans [[spoiler: and later Protoss]]. Even after seeing his opponents, have time and time again proven to be literally ''eons'' more advanced and powerful than the armies of his backwater and primitive homeworld, his deluded and bloated ego combined with his plain-out idiocy, refuses to acknowledge this painfully obvious fact; and believed their superior might are just illusions. Deeming them as "cowardly barbarians" due to ''constantly'' misinterpreting restraint and mercy as weakness. But Zorzal takes it to the level that even after being thoroughly curbstomped by the Dominion [[spoiler: and Protoss]], he firmly believed he could’ve slaughtered and defeated them if he was emperor, much to Pina’s shock at seeing how truly deluded her brother was to actually, believe such delusions of grandeur. [[spoiler: Then when the Zerg infestation breaks out in his fortress, Zorzal has a psychotic breakdown and blames Pina for all the problems he brought upon himself and tries strangling her, while she was trying to keep everyone alive; as the Zerg unleash the evolutionary virus to try infesting everyone. Eventually, this all comes to bite him back in the most horrific way possible. But again he brought it on himself so little pity is warranted.]]

* TechnologyUplift: [[spoiler: After the pro war faction is finally defeated, Pina continued pursuing her benign ideals for Falmart. But unfortunately she was to trying to implement these massive and fundamental changes at a rate society couldn’t handle to achieve them. Resulting in uproar arising within the nobility and risked sparking another civil war with the commoners populace and noble houses. Thankfully, Valerian came to Pina and proposed to offer his resources to uplift Falmart and reform it into a prosperous modern civilization if they were to join the Dominion. Pina doesn’t even hesitate accepting this offer and once the planet is annexed to the galactic empire, Falmart goes from a backwater medieval fantasy world, to a highly advanced civilization that is proving to be the second most important world to the Dominion’s territory.]]
* TheGlovesComeOff: Valerian Mengsk had for the majority of the operation regarding getting justice for the attack on Augustgrad by The Empire, decided to act more mercifully than the populace, who demanded to outright glass their world for the primitive armies massacre. But this mercy was due to not only wanting to be better than what their aggressors had done but also wanting to prevent critics to attack him for being like his tyrannical father. On top of not wanting to risk upsetting the Protoss for unjustly attacking an underdeveloped world. Thus the whole time he was just hoping this could all end in a peaceful resolution once they caught the perpetrators. But that all changed when he learned that The Empire had enslaved a good handful of his citizens they kidnapped in their attempted invasion. Then when learning of the horrific atrocities these savages had done to the enslaved Dominion citizens, decided ''enough was enough''. [[spoiler: After freeing all the remaining Dominon slaves and killing all the scum who brutally tormented them, Valerian ordered a nuke to be dropped on a slaver city for all of Flamart to witness. Warning them this would happen to every part of Falmart until they surrendered.]]

It was only after witnessing their alliance against Amon, and exhausting all the primitive options she could think of (even thinking she can make alliances with the other galactic superpowers despite knowing absolutely nothing about them) she broke down in front of Valerian and accepted the fact they needed to surrender or face the wrath of the titan they provoked.

Later Pina seeking to atone for the Empire’s barbarity, outlaws slavery and removed several laws against Demi-humans. While it’s far from fixing the years of suffering on their kind, it is a great start to healing relations between the races. [[spoiler: Thirty years later this pays off as Demi Human’s now peacefully coexist as apart of humanity and are strewn across the Terran Dominion’s colonies.]]

Which the Saderan Empire attempted to abuse for conquest of new lands and slaves.

But as expected the Zerg breaks out and starts an infestation in their fortress that kills or assimilates the Haryo and Zorzal’s pro-war faction before being nuked to oblivion by the Dominion to prevent a hive cluster from forming.]]

That being to lure unsuspecting and young species from different worlds and universes that catch the Falmart pantheon’s fancy, and basically kidnap the migrated population to later become permanently apart of their garden. Not to mention they have prevented the civilizations of their world from progressing beyond the Medieval era, in order to maintain their dependence on them and gain strength from worshipping them. [[spoiler: Once the Daelaam learn of these abuses of power, and the source of all this chaos, they are quick to confront Hardy in her own temple, and using a cage designed for void based beings, imprison her to be judged for her galactic level crimes by the Protoss council. Later when Falmart learns of their god’s misdeeds abandon all worship of the Falmart pantheon and become more secular. Resulting in the Falmart gods to lose power and influence to the point most of them are ''begging'' for followers nowadays.]]

Though when the pro-war faction fought the Protoss’s Tal’darim, they initially thought they would have advantage for once since they used swords like them. But that’s because they’re so freakin powerful, they only use them to keep things fair in a fight. Plus Alarak is a sadist so melee combat lets him and his comrades enjoy the bloodbath as they decimate the pro-war faction.

In reality, they're just a primitive and downright barbaric imperialist nation that rules only a chunk of their own planet compared to the galaxy-spanning civilization of the Terran Dominion. Valerian even comments that he could always send in a battlecruiser to completely obliterate them and still be able to make it back home for dinner. It’s only because he doesn’t want to be like his father that he is more merciful. Though later learns that might’ve been a mistake.

And as many could expect the Protoss do not take very kindly to such a ludicrous demand from a faction of backwater barbarians. It was only thanks to Pina being quick enough to not associate the rest of the empire with Zorzal’s faction that all of Sadera hasn’t been reduced to glass because of this man’s mouth.

Then when the Zerg infestation breaks out in his fortress, Zorzal has a psychotic breakdown and blames Pina for all the problems he brought upon himself and tries strangling her, while she was trying to keep everyone alive; just as the Zerg unleash the evolutionary virus to try infesting everyone. Eventually, this all comes to bite him back in the most horrific way possible. But again he brought it on himself so little pity is warranted.

The Confederacy with all its advanced technology could barely control them, so the idea that a primitive medieval shadow organization could believe they can fare any better controlling the space bugs is laughable. But as expected the Zerg breaks out and starts an infestation in their fortress that kills or assimilates the Haryo and Zorzal’s pro-war faction before being nuked to oblivion by the Dominion to prevent a hive cluster from forming.

* TechnologyUplift: After the pro war faction is finally defeated, Pina continued pursuing her benign ideals for Falmart. But unfortunately she was to trying to implement these massive fundamental changes at a rate society couldn’t handle to achieve them, as uproar began arising in the nobility and risked conflict to spark another civil war with the civilian populace and noble houses. Thus Valerian proposed to offer his resources to uplift Falmart and reform it into a prosperous modern civilization if they were to join the Dominion. Pina doesn’t even hesitate accepting this offer and once the planet is annexed to the galactic empire, Falmart goes from a backwater medieval fantasy world, to a highly advanced civilization that is proving to be the second most important world to the Dominion’s territory.
* TheGlovesComeOff: Valerian Mengsk had for the majority of the operation regarding getting justice for the attack on Augustgrad by The Empire, decided to act more mercifully than the populace, who demanded to outright glass their world for the primitive armies massacre. But this mercy was due to not only wanting to be better than what their aggressors had done but also wanting to prevent critics to attack him for being like his tyrannical father. On top of not wanting to risk upsetting the Protoss for unjustly attacking an underdeveloped world. Thus the whole time he was just hoping this could all end in a peaceful resolution once they caught the perpetrators. But that all changed when he learned that The Empire had enslaved a good handful of his citizens they kidnapped in their attempted invasion. Then when learning of the horrific atrocities these savages had done to the enslaved Dominion citizens, decided ''enough was enough''. After freeing all the remaining Dominon slaves and killing all the scum who brutally tormented them, Valerian ordered a nuke to be dropped on a slaver city for all of Flamart to witness. Warning them this would happen to every part of Falmart until they surrendered.
* TimeSkip: In the final chapter, this occurs, as through the lens of some new OC’s, thirty years have passed since peace was established and the Dominion had annexed Falmart. With these new characters being the children of some of the original cast. Such as Jin, who is Yao and Rath’s half-elf son.
* UpliftedAnimal: Once the Dominion annexed Falmart, they decided to genetically uplift all the savage demi human races worth sparing, otherwise they would face systemic extinction. A brutal but necessary strategy when remembering how vicious they can be. Thus all the animalistic monsters like Goblins, Ogre’s and Orc’s were artificially evolved into sapient demi human races and are promptly assimilated into Falmart/Dominion society.
* UpsettingTheBalance: Hardy and the fellow Falmart gods are guilty of this once the Terrans and Protoss uncover the gates true purpose. Not to mention they have prevented the civilizations of their world from progressing beyond the Medieval era, in order to maintain their dependence on them and gain strength from worshipping them. Once the Daelaam learn of these abuses of power, and the source of all this chaos, they are quick to confront Hardy in her own temple, and using a cage designed for void based beings, imprison her to be judged for her galactic level crimes by the Protoss council.

Yet it’s concluded the gate had a hand in this ecological anomaly, as it’s purpose was deemed to introduce new humanoid species to enter Falmart and rejuvenate the biodiversity of the planet. Which the Saderan Empire attempted to abuse for conquest of new lands and slaves. But would’ve been fruitless given the gate wasn’t meant to bridge two worlds for more than a few months without causing catastrophic problems.
